Abstract

Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University is one of the state universities that also apply the Smart and Green Campus concept as a form of campus development efforts and care for the environment. Moreover, the construction of a new campus on open land carried out by this campus in Sindangsari, Serang district, has resulted in changes in land use and has had a considerable impact on water catchment areas. The aim of this research is to determine the volume of available water that can be stored, design Rainwater Harvesting and infiltration wells using sigma tanks, and determine the percentage of savings resulting from Rainwater Harvesting at the Female Dormitory Building, Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa.. The rainwater management is carried out at the Female Dormitory Building, Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University, Sindangsari campus. using the Rainwater Harvesting system (rainwater harvesting) ground reservoir to collect rainwater when the excess water volume will be discharged into the Infiltration tank (Infiltration Well). Using rainfall data for 10 years (2010-2019) BMKG Serang with GSMAP carried out bias correction between the two, as well as using a reliable discharge of 90% using the NRECA method, and in designing the inlet and outlet pipes using EPANET 2.2. The research results obtained savings of 8%, with a storage tank capacity of 210 m3 using the main material Sigma tank (modular tank) made of Polypropylene.

Additional Information: Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa menjadi salah satu PTN yang turut menerapkan konsep Smart and Green Campus sebagai salah satu bentuk upaya perkembangan kampus dan peduli terhadap lingkungan. Terlebih lagi pembangunan kampus baru pada lahan terbuka yang dilakukan oleh kampus ini berada di Sindangsari kabupaten Serang mengakibatkan perubahan tata guna lahan dan membawa dampak yang cukup besar terhadap daerah resapan air. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui besarnya volume ketersediaan air yang dapat ditampung, mendesain Rainwater Harvesting dan sumur resapan menggunakan sigma tank, dan mengetahui besarnya persentase penghematan yang dihasilkan dari Rainwater Harvesting pada gedung Asrama Putri Sindangsari Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa. Pada pengelolahan air hujan ini dilakukan pada Gedung Asrama Putri Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa kampus Sindangsari. menggunakan sistem Rainwater Harvesting (Pemanenan air hujan) ground reservoir untuk menampung air hujan ketika volume air berlebih akan dilimpaskan kedalam Infiltration tank (Sumur Resapan). Menggunakan data curah hujan selama 10 tahun (2010-2019) BMKG Serang dengan GSMAP dilakukan bias correction antara keduanya, serta menggunakan debit andalan sebesar 90% dengan metode NRECA, dan dalam perancangan pipa inlet dan outlet menggunakan EPANET 2.2. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan penghematan sebesar 8% dengan menggunakan metode Cendya Quaresvita, dengan kapasitas bak penampung sebesar 210 m3 menggunakan material utama Sigma tank (tanki modular) berbahan dasar Polypropylene. Kata kunci : pemanenan air hujan, sumur resapan, sigma tank.
