Abstract

Early childhood is a period of growth, development, and learning. During this time, children require educational support that can provide stimulation to help them reach their full potential, which can take many forms, such as entrepreneurship. Therefore, in early childhood education, activities that can facilitate the development of every child's potential are through market day activities. This is due to the immaturity of entrepreneurial values in early childhood education, which highlights the need to introduce entrepreneurship as an initial stimulus. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of market day activities on entrepreneurial values among 5-6-year-old children at Kindergarten Cipare, Serang, Banten. Therefore, this study uses a quantitative approach with an ex-post facto method and a purposive sampling sample of 70 children aged 5-6 years. The instrument used in this study is a questionnaire with a likert scale assessment technique and documentation. Based on the results, linear regression significance value was 0.000, and the correlation value (R) was 0.646, which means that Hı was accepted, and Ho was rejected. Therefore, the data have a positive influence of 64.6% between market day activities and entrepreneurial values among young Children at the Kindergarten Cipare, Serang, Banten.

Additional Information: Anak usia dini adalah individu yang melalui pertumbuhan, berproses dan berkembang dalam masa keemasan. Pada masa keemasan tersebut perlu dukungan pendidikan yang dapat memberikan stimulasi agar setiap potensi anak dapat berkembang. Potensi yang dimaksud berupa banyak hal, contohnya berwirausaha. Sehingga pada PAUD dibentuk kegiatan yang mampu memfasilitasi potensi anak, contohnya melalui kegiatan market day. Hal ini berkenaan dengan belum matangnya nilai-nilai kewirausahaan pada anak di PAUD sehingga perlunya dikenalkan kewirausahaan sejak dini sebagai stimulasi awal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kegiatan market day terhadap nilai-nilai kewirausahaan anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Kelurahan Cipare, Kota Serang, Banten. Maka dari itu, penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode ex post facto dengan sampel purposive sampling sebanyak 70 anak usia 5-6 tahun. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner dengan teknik penilaian skala likert dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi regresi linear sederhana didapatkan nilai sebesar 0.000 dan nilai korelasi (R) sebesar 0.646 yang artinya Hı diterima dan Ho ditolak. Maka data dinyatakan memiliki pengaruh positif sebesar 64,6% antara kegiatan market day terhadap nilai-nilai kewirausahaan anak usia dini di Kelurahan Cipare, Serang, Banten.
