Abstract
The rice farming business isa business that is vulnerable to stress fromen viron mental conditions, for example due to floods, droughts, or plant pests (OPT). Therefore, insurance can be a protection solution for farmers to avoid losses due to crop failure. The aim of this research isto find out what variables influence farmers' decisions to take part in the AUTP program in Pontang District, Serang Regency, Banten Province. The type of research that will be used in this research is quantitative research. This research was conducted in Pontang District, Serang Regency, Banten. The selection of research locations was carried out purposively. The analytical method used in this research is the classical assumption test and multiple linear regression analysis. From the results of this research, it was found that the variable that influences farmers' decisions in participating in the Rice Farming Insurance program is the risk of crop failure, which can be seen from the significance value, namely 1.003-0.05 and the value of T count against T table (0.588-1.984), so that the decision making H0 is accepted and H1 is rejected. The independent variable that influences farmers' decisions to take part in the AUTP program is the risk of crop failure.

| Additional Information: | Usaha pertanian padi merupakan usaha yang rentan terhadap tekanan kondisi MZXGGTlingkungan, misalnya akibat banjir, kekeringan, atau serangan hama tanaman (OPT). Oleh karena itu, asuransi dapat menjadi solusi perlindungan bagi petani agar terhindar dari kerugian akibat gagal panen. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah VHF linier berganda. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa variabel yang mempengaruhi keputusan petani dalam mengikuti program Asuransi Usaha Tani Padi adalah resiko gagal panen dilihat dari nilai signifikansi yaitu 1,003 – 0,05 dan nilai signifikansi sebesar 1,003 – 0,05. | |||||||||
