Abstract
This research is based on the results of literature studies and observations in the field, including, based on the latest data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Pandeglang Regency. The Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) of Vocational High School (SMK) graduates is still the highest contributor compared to graduates. other education, the unemployment rate increased to 9.24% from 7.70%. Apart from that, from the results of observations, it appears that there are still many vocational school students who do not have good work readiness. This is due to the fact that vocational high school graduates do not yet fully have skill competencies, there is a lack of awareness of the importance of work motivation for vocational school students, and industrial work practices which should be used as an illustration of work experience to support work readiness are not perceived optimally by vocational school students. This research aims to: (1) determine the effect of skill competency on work readiness of class XII TITL students at SMKN 2 Pandeglang; (2) determine the effect of work motivation on work readiness of class XII TITL students at SMKN 2 Pandeglang; (3) determine the influence of industrial work practices on the work readiness of class XII TITL students at SMKN 2 Pandeglang; (4) determine the influence of skill competency, work motivation and industrial work practices on work readiness of class XII TITL students at SMKN 2 Pandeglang. This research is a type of survey research with an Ex-Post Facto approach. This research was conducted at SMKN 2 Pandeglang on grade 12 students. The instruments used included a questionnaire for testing skills competency instruments, work motivation, industrial work practices, and work readiness. The results of this research are (1) there is a positive influence between the skill competency variable on the work readiness of Class work of Class contribution of 79%, (4) there is a positive influence between skill competency, work motivation, and industrial work practices on the work readiness of Class XII TITL SMKN 2 Pandeglang students with a correlation value = 0.892 with a contribution of 79.5%.

Additional Information: | Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi atas hasil studi literatur dan observasi di lapangan, diantaranya berdasarkan data terbaru dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Kabupaten Pandeglang Tingkat Pengangguran Terbuka (TPT) dari tamatan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) masih menjadi penyumbang yang paling tinggi dibandingkan tamatan jenjang pendidikan lainnya, peningkatan angka pengangguran yaitu sebesar 9,24% dari 7,70%. Selain itu, dari hasil pengamatan, terlihat bahwa masih banyak siswa SMK yang belum memiliki kesiapan kerja yang baik. Disebabkan karena belum sepenuhnya lulusan SMK memiliki kompetensi keahlian, kurangnya kesadaran akan pentingnya motivasi kerja bagi siswa SMK, dan praktik kerja industri yang seharusnya dijadikan gambaran mengenai pengalaman kerja sebagai penunjang kesiapan kerja kurang dirasakan secara optimal oleh siswa SMK. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi keahlian terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa kelas XII TITL SMKN 2 Pandeglang; (2) mengetahui pengaruh motivasi kerja terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa kelas XII TITL SMKN 2 Pandeglang; (3) mengetahui pengaruh praktik kerja industri terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa kelas XII TITL SMKN 2 Pandeglang; (4) mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi keahlian, motivasi kerja dan praktik kerja industri terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa kelas XII TITL SMKN 2 Pandeglang. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian survei dengan pendekatan Ex-Post Facto. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMKN 2 Pandeglang pada siswa kelas 12. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi lembar angket uji coba instrumen kompetensi keahlian, motivasi kerja, praktik kerja industri, dan kesiapan kerja. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) terdapat pengaruh positif antara variabel kompetensi keahlian terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa Kelas XII TITL SMKN 2 Pandeglang dengan nilai koefisien korelasi = 0.554 dengan kontribusi sebesar 30,7%, (2) terdapat pengaruh positif antara variabel motivasi kerja terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa Kelas XII TITL SMKN 2 Pandeglang dengan nilai koefisien korelasi = 0.607 dengan kontribusi sebesar 36,8%, (3) terdapat pengaruh positif antara variabel praktik kerja industri terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa Kelas XII TITL SMKN 2 Pandeglang dengan nilai koefisien regresi = 0.889 dengan kontribusi sebesar 79%, (4) terdapat pengaruh positif antara kompetensi keahlian, motivasi kerja, dan praktik kerja industri terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa Kelas XII TITL SMKN 2 Pandeglang dengan nilai korelasi = 0,892 dengan kontribusi sebesar 79,5%. | |||||||||
