Abstract

Early childhood education today requires innovation in learning so that children can think critically, creatively and it is fun for children. One of the learning options that can be used to restore the core of children's learning is the application of loose part learning media besides that loose part media can also build independent learning in children. This study aims to determine the planning, application and evaluation of loose part learning media in building independent learning in children aged 5-6 years at Tk PADU Al-Kautsar Serang. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The subjects of this research are children aged 5-6 years or class B, the principal, and teachers of Tk PADU Al-Kautsar Serang. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validation was carried out by means of extended observation, observation persistence, triangulation, negative case analysis, member check, peer discussion, and reference adequacy. The results of this study obtained that the application of loose part learning media in building learning independence carried out has fulfilled independence in children. This can be seen from the planning and arrangement of the child's learning environment, the implementation of learning activities, namely the teacher allows children to choose a play and learning base, and child evaluation.

Additional Information: Pendidikan anak usia dini saat ini memerlukan inovasi dalam pembelajaran agar anak dapat berpikir kritis, kreatif dan menyenangkan bagi anak. Salah satu pilihan pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan untuk mengembalikan inti pembelajaran anak adalah penerapan media pembelajaran loose part selain itu media loose part juga dapat membangun merdeka belajar pada anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perencanaan, penerapan dan evaluasi media pembelajaran loose part dalam membangun merdeka belajar pada anak usia 5-6 tahun di Tk PADU Al-Kautsar Serang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. subjek penelitian ini adalah anak usia 5-6 tahun atau kelas B, kepala sekolah, dan guru Tk PADU Al-Kautsar Serang. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Validasi data dilakukan dengan cara perpanjang pengamatan, ketekunan pengamatan, triangulasi, analisis kasus negatif, member check, diskusi teman sejawat, dan kecukupan referensi. Hasil penelitian ini di peroleh bahwa penerapan media pembelajaran loose part dalam membangun merdeka belajar yang dilakukan sudah memenuhi kemerdekaan pada anak. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari perencanaan dan penataan lingkungan belajar anak, pelaksanaan kegiatan pembelajaran yaitu guru membebaskan anak memilih basecamp bermain dan belajar, dan evaluasi anak.
