Abstract
This study aims to determine the diversity of nocturnal and diurnal insects in the Ujung Kulon National Park Area (TNUK) as an initial study of research on the development of invertebrate subconcepts. Sampling was carried out at 4 stations, namely Peucang Island, Handeleum Island, Cigenter and Cidaon. This study was conducted in May–June 2021. The methods used in sampling are the pollard walk method using sweeping net techniques to capture samples in the research area, and the trap method is pitfall-trap for diurnal insect collection, Light-trap method for nocturnal insect data collection. Sampling was carried out in two sessions for diurnal insect data collection, namely 08.00-11.00 WIB, 14.00-16.00 WIB and one session for nocturnal insect data collection 18.00 – 05.00 WIB. Data were analyzed with Shanon-Wiener diversity index (H'), type evenness index (E), and Simpson dominance index (D). The results showed the number of nocturnal insects was 426 individuals and the number of diurnal insects was 2802 individuals, if in the total data found as many as 3228 individuals with the number of orders 8 from 58 families and 141 species. In diurnal scenarios at station 1 Peucang island generally has the highest species diversity index value (H'= 1.89), and the lowest diversity index value is found at station 4 Cidaon Island (H'= 1.61). In the nocturnal index at station 1 Peucang island generally has the highest species diversity index value (H '= 1.65), and the lowest diversity index value is found at station 2 Handeleum Island (H '= 1.57). The diversity of nocturnal and diurnal insects in the Ujung Kulon National Park Area is classified as medium category with an average diversity index value of 1.61 for nocturnal insects and 1.75 for diurnal insects. The results of this research are implemented as an initial study of research on the development of invertebrate subconcepts in the form of learning resources or learning media.

Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dua sesi untuk pengambilan data insekta diurnal yaitu pukul 08.00–11.00WIB, 14.00–16.00WIB dan satu sesi untuk pengambilan data insekta nokturnal 18.00 – 05.00 WIB. Data dianalisis dengan indeks keanekaragaman Shanon-Wiener (H'), indeks kemerataan jenis (E), dan indeks dominansi Simpson (D). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jumlah insekta nokturnal yaitu 426 individu dan jumlah insekta diurnal yaitu 2802 individu, jika di total data yang ditemukan sebanyak 3228 individu dengan jumlah ordo 8 dari 58 famili dan 141 spesies. Pada insketa diurnal di stasiun 1 pulau Peucang secara umum memiliki nilai indeks keanekaragaman jenis tertinggi (H'= 1,89), dan nilai indeks keanekaragaman terendah terdapat di stasiun 4 Pulau Cidaon (H'= 1,61). Pada insekta nokturnal distasiun 1 pulau Peucang secara umum memiliki nilai indeks keanekaragaman jenis tertinggi (H'= 1,65), dan nilai indeks keanekaragaman terendah terdapat di stasiun 2 Pulau Handeleum (H'= 1,57). Keanekaragaman insekta nokturnal dan diurnal di Kawasan Taman Nasional Ujung Kulon tergolong kategori sedang dengan nilai rata-rata indeks keanekaragaman sebesar 1,61 untuk insekta nokturnal dan 1,75 untuk insekta diurnal. Hasil penelitian ini diimplementasikan sebagai studi awal penelitian pengembangan subkonsep invertebrata baik berupa sumber belajar atau media belajar. | |||||||||
