Abstract
This study discusses the Gender Awareness perspective on a program implemented by the Provincial Government of West Java. Departing from the number of cases that are detrimental to women in West Java, this program is toutedas an innovation and a solution to problems involving women. The program is named Sekoper Cinta. Sekoper Cinta (School for Women to Achieve Dreams and Goals) is an informal school that can be attended by women, especially women from West Java. This study uses the theory of Gender Blind Policy and Gender Awareness and uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach. The results of this study are (1) the Sekoper Cinta program is a forum for women in West Java to be able to improve their self-quality. (2) There have been significant changes that occurred in West Java during the Sekoper Cinta program and (3) the West Java Provincial Government has succeeded in implementing Gender Awareness of the Sekoper Cinta program. In its implementation, theSekoper Cinta program has been implemented quite well. By looking at the enthusiasm of the participants in participating in the activity and the impact that occurred in the field, especially for West Java women. It is hoped that this programcan continue and can be implemented in all regions in Indonesia.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini membahas tentang presfektif Gender Awareness terhadap suatu program yang dilaksanakan oleh Pemerintah Provinsi Jawa Barat. Berangkat dari angka kasus yang merugikan perempuan di Jawa Barat cukup memprihatinkan, Program tersebut digadang-gadang sebagai sebuah inovasi serta solusi atas permasalahan yang melibatkan perempuan. Program tersebut diberi nama Sekoper Cinta. Sekoper Cinta (Sekolah Perempuan Capai Impian dan Cita-Cita) merupakan sekolah informal yang dapat diikuti oleh perempuan khususnya perempuan Jawa Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Gender Blind Policy dan Gender Awareness dan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah (1) Program Sekoper Cinta merupakan wadah bagi perempuan Jawa Barat untuk dapat memperbaiki kualitas diri.(2) Adanya perubahan signifikan yang terjadi di Jawa Barat selama program Sekoper Cinta berlangsung dan (3) Pemerintah Provinsi Jawa Barat berhasil mengimplementasikan Gender Awareness pada program Sekoper Cinta. Dalam pelaksanaannya program Sekoper Cinta sudah dijalankan dengan cukup baik. Dengan melihat antusiasme peserta dalam mengikuti kegiatan serta dampak yang terjadi di lapangan khususnya pada perempuan-perempuan Jawa Barat. Diharapkan program ini dapat terus berjalan dan dapat dilaksanakan di seluruh daerah di Indonesia. | ||||||
