Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of liquid organic fertilizer (POC) of uli banana peel on the growth of land kale plants, determine the most optimal concentration of uli banana peel liquid organic fertilizer, and the implications of the research results for biology learning resources. The research was conducted in July-December 2023, located in a plastic house, Cipicung Village, Pandeglang Regency, Banten. The research method used was an experiment with a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of five treatments and four replicates, namely treatment P0 (without POC/control), P1 (POC 20 ml/liter of water), P2 (POC 30 ml/liter), P3 (POC 40 ml/liter of water), and P4 (POC 50 ml/liter of water). The data obtained were analyzed using ANOVA and tukey further test at 5% level. The results showed that the application of liquid organic fertilizer from uli banana peel gave a significant effect on the growth of land kale plants, namely plant height at the age of 20 and 25 days after planting, but had no significant effect on the number of leaves, wet weight, and dry weight of plants. The treatment that gives the best results is the concentration of 50 ml/liter of water (P4). The results of the study can be utilized as primary data in biology learning resources on the concept of plant growth and development in the form of practicum modules.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pupuk organik cair (POC) kulit pisang uli terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman kangkung darat, mengetahui konsentrasi pupuk organik cair kulit pisang uli yang paling optimal, serta implikasi hasil penelitian terhadap sumber belajar biologi. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Juli-Desember 2023, bertempat di Rumah plastik, Desa Cipicung, Kabupaten Pandeglang, Banten. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri atas lima perlakuan dan empat ulangan yaitu perlakuan P0 (tanpa POC/kontrol), P1 (POC 20 ml/liter air), P2 (POC 30 ml/liter), P3 (POC 40 ml/liter air), dan P4 (POC 50 ml/liter air). Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan ANOVA dan uji lanjut tukey taraf 5 %. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pupuk organik cair dari kulit pisang uli memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman kangkung darat yaitu tinggi tanaman pada umur 20 dan 25 hari setelah tanam, namun tidak berpengaruh nyata pada jumlah daun, berat basah, dan berat kering tanaman. Perlakuan yang memberikan hasil terbaik yaitu pada konsentrasi 50 ml/liter air (P4). Hasil penelitian dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai data primer dalam sumber belajar biologi pada konsep pertumbuhan dan perkembangan tumbuhan berupa modul praktikum.
