Abstract

This research aims to measure the influence of competence on employee performance which is moderated by group cohesiveness of BCA Bank employees at the Tangerang City Branch Office. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to employees covering customer service, teller and security positions. The population in this study was 40 BCA Tangerang City employees. The analysis technique in this research uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using SmartPLS 4.0 student version analysis. This research can pave the way for optimizing employee performance by increasing employee competency assisted by group cohesiveness. The results of this research show that: (1) Competency has a positive and significant effect on employee performance (2) Group Cohesiveness moderates the relationship of Competency to Employee Performance positively but not significantly.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur pengaruh kompetensi terhadap kinerja karyawan yang dimoderasi oleh kohesivitas kelompok terhadap karyawan Bank BCA Kantor Cabang Kota Tangerang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan penyebaran kuisioner bagi karyawan yang mencakup posisi customer service, teller, back office, dan security. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 40 orang karyawan BCA Kota Tangerang. Teknik analisis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) dengan menggunakan analisis SmartPLS 4.0 versi student. Penelitian ini dapat membuka jalan untuk mengoptimalkan kinerja karyawan dengan meningkatkan kompetensi karyawan dibantu dengan adanya kohesivitas kelompok. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Kompetensi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan (2) Kohesivitas Kelompok memoderasi hubungan Kompetensi terhadap Kinerja Karyawan secara positif tapi tidak signifikan.
