Abstract
This research aims to determine socialization efforts in preventing juvenile delinquency in Pasar Kemis District, Tangerang Regency with a descriptive study at the Pasar Kemis Police. This research was conducted using qualitative descriptive methods. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews and documentation and data validity using triangulation. The results of the research show that the Pasar Kemis Police have implemented a program aimed at preventing the problem of juvenile delinquency by conducting counseling, patrols and raids. Counseling carried out by the police to prevent juvenile delinquency problems is one of the proactive steps to create a safe environment and build awareness of the younger generation. Apart from outreach activities to schools, the Pasar Kemis Police also conduct outreach to the community through the Friday Confide program. Curhat Friday is a National Police Chief program which aims to obtain input and suggestions regarding security and social order as well as small�scale legal education in the community. The difficulty of the Pasar Kemis Police in preventing juvenile delinquency is the lack of information from the public, lack of public awareness of the law and lack of parental supervision of children. | Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya penyuluhan dalam mencegah kenakalan remaja di Kecamatan Pasar Kemis Kabupaten Tangerang dengan studi deskriptif di Kepolisian Sektor Pasar Kemis. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi serta keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan Kepolisian Sektor Pasar Kemis sudah melaksanakan program yang bertujuan untuk mencegah masalah kenakalan remaja dengan melakukan penyuluhan, patroli maupun razia. Penyuluhan yang dilakukan kepolisian untuk mencegah masalah kenakalan remaja merupakan salah satu langkah proaktif untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang aman dan membangun kesadaran generasi muda. Selain kegiatan penyuluhan ke sekolah-sekolah Kepolisian Sektor Pasar Kemis juga melalukan penyuluhan kepada masyarakat melalui program Jumat Curhat. Jumat curhat merupakan program Kapolri yang bertujuan mendapatkan masukan maupun saran terkait dengan kamtibmas serta pendidikan hukum secara kecil-kecilan pada masyarakat. Adapun kesulitan Polsek Pasar Kemis dalam mencegah kenakalan remaja yaitu kurangnya informasi dari masyarakat, kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat terhadap hukum dan kurangnya pengawasan orang tua kepada anak. | |||||||||
