Abstract

This study aims to analyze (1) learning strategies in increasing the confidence of public speaking training participants at LKP Seruling Cilegon City (2) the results of increasing the confidence of learning citizens after attending public speaking train-ing at LKP Seruling Cilegon City. The approach used is a qualitative approach using descriptive methods. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduc-tion, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that: (1) the learning strategy consists of a) organizing strategy; preparing learning modules in accordance with KKNI and SKKNI and establishing partners with formal institu-tions such as the Ministry of Manpower to support the implementation of training and meet the needs of learning citizens, b) learning delivery strategy; delivering learning by using varied methods such as peer methods, role play, and direct prac-tice, c) learning management strategy; a) learning management strategies; as-sessing the ability of learning citizens both cognitive, affective and psychomotor through the gform link given by the instructor to the learning citizens to find out the ability of the learning citizens and help develop it, (2) The results of increasing the confidence of the trainees after attending this public speaking training which in-cludes confidence in their abilities, optimistic, responsible, objective and rational and realistic can be concluded that the self-confidence possessed by the learning citizens after attending the public speaking training can significantly be categorized as quite confident.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menganalisis (1) strategi pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan rasa percaya diri peserta pelatihan public speaking di LKP Seruling Kota Cilegon (2) hasil peningkatan percaya diri warga belajar setelah mengikuti pelatihan public speaking di LKP Seruling Kota Cilegon. Pendekatan yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara dan doku-mentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) strategi pem-belajaran terdiri dari a) strategi pengorganisasian; menyiapkan modul pembelaja-ran sesuai dengan KKNI dan SKKNI serta menjalin mitra kerja dengan lembaga formal seperti Kemnaker untuk mendukung pelaksanaan pelatihan dan memenuhi kebutuhan warga belajar, b) strategi penyampaian pembelajaran; menyampaikan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode bervariasi seperti metode teman seba-ya, role play, dan praktik langsung, c) strategi pengelolaan pembelajaran; menilai kemampuan warga belajar baik kognitif, afektif dan psikomotorik melalui link gform yang diberikan oleh instruktur kepada warga belajar untuk mengetahui ke-mampuan warga belajar dan membantu mengembangkannya, (2) Hasil pening-katan percaya diri peserta pelatihan setelah mengikuti pelatihan public speaking ini yang didalamnya terdapat seperti keyakinan kemampuan diri, optimis, ber-tanggung jawab, objektif dan rasional serta realistis dapat ditarik kesimpulan bah-wa rasa percaya diri yang dimiliki oleh warga belajar setelah mengikuti pelatihan public speaking secara signifikan dapat dikategorikan yaitu cukup percaya diri.
