Abstract
Ability in social behavior needs to owned children early so that children can be accepted surrounding environment. Factors which supports children have a wide social environment is family, community and school environments. One way is to provide appropriate educational stimulation. The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between early childhood education with social behavior in children aged 4-5 years at Ciruas Sub-District of Serang, Banten. Total population is all children are studying at early childhood education at Ciruas Sub-District, totaling 1097 children from 52 institutions and the sample of 30 children with sampling using stratified random sampling to determine the presence of specific criteria. Data collection methods used were questionnaires (questionnaire), observation sheet with the Likert scale form and documentation. Data analysis technique uses Pearson Product Moment Correlation simple with the help of Microsoft Excel. Results of the study showed that the social behavior of children at Ciruas Sub-District often taught by parents is the behavior of to generosity, to cooperation, to caring, to familiar behavior and to be independent and behavioral outcomes obtained through the calculation of the correlation coefficient r of 0,961. So, it can be concluded that there is a significant the correlation between early childhood education with social behavior in children aged 4-5 years at Ciruas Sub-District of Serang, Banten. As for suggestions that I can say is the parents should be aware of each child’s development to suit the needs of children. | Additional Information: | Kemampuan dalam berperilaku sosial perlu dimiliki anak sejak dini agar anak dapat diterima dilingkungan sekitarnya. Faktor yang mendukung anak memiliki lingkungan sosial yang luas adalah keluarga, lingkungan masyarakat dan lingkungan sekolah. Salah satunya adalah dengan memberikan stimulasi pendidikan yang tepat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pendidikan anak sejak dini dengan perilaku sosial anak usia 4-5 tahun di Kecamatan Ciruas Serang-Banten. Jumlah populasinya adalah seluruh anak yang menempuh pendidikan PAUD di Kecamatan Ciruas yang berjumlah 1097 anak dari 52 lembaga dan sampelnya sebanyak 30 anak dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan Stratified Random Sampling dengan menentukan adanya kriteria- kriteria khusus. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kuisioner (angket), lembar observasi dengan bentuk skala likert dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan korelasi Pearson Product Moment sederhana dengan bantuan Microsoft Excel. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perilaku sosial anak di Kecamatan Ciruas yang sering diajarkan oleh orang tua adalah perilaku kemurahan hati, kerja sama, kepedulian, perilaku akrab dan mandiri dan hasil perilaku tersebut diperoleh melalui perhitungan nilai koefisien korelasi r sebesar 0,961. Dengan demikian, dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pendidikan anak sejak dini dengan perilaku sosial anak usia 4-5 tahun di Kecamatan Ciruas Serang-Banten. Adapun saran-saran yang dapat saya sampaikan adalah orang tua sebaiknya mengetahui setiap perkembangan anak agar sesuai dengan kebutuhan anak.
