Abstract

LCD Writing Tablet learning media has not been used as a support in classroom learning, especially learning to write for students with disabilities so that supporting factors are needed in class learning. learning in the classroom. Beginning writing is the first step or stage that must be done and mastered by lower grade students to must be done and mastered by lower grade students for how students can continue learning to the next stage. continue learning to the next stage. Learning media isone of the tools to assist in the learning and teaching process in a classroom class. The samples taken in this study were moderate tunagrahita students in class II SD in SKh Farkhan As-Salman Pandeglang which amounted to 3 people. Objective The main purpose of this research is to improve the ability of writing the beginning of in moderate Tunagrahita students through the use of LCD Writing Tablet media in improving the ability to write beginnings in students with moderate tunagrahita class II SDKh by using a quantitative experimental research approach, researchers used a pre-experiment design one group pre-test post-test, which is an experiment conducted on one group only without a control group. conducted on one group only without a comparison group. The results showed that the use of LCD Writing Tablet in improving the ability to write beginnings in students of students in grade II SD at SKh Farkhan As- Salman is very effective and can improve writing skills improve the writing ability of beginning writers.

Additional Information: Belum digunakannya media pembelajaran LCD Writing Tablet sebagai penunjang dalam pembelajaran dikelas, terutama pembelajaran menulis permulaan bagi siswa tunagrahita sehingga diperlukannya factor pendukung dalam pembelajaran dikelas. Menulis permulaan merupakan langkah atau tahap awal yang harus dilakukan dan dikuasai oleh siswa kelas bawah untuk bagaimana siswa dapat melanjutkan pembelajaran ketahap selanjutnya. Media pembelajaran merupakan salah satu alat untuk membantu dalam proses belajar dan mengajar didalam sebuah kelas. Sampel yang diambil pada penelitian ini yaitu siswa tunagrahita sedang kelas II SD di SKh Farkhan As-Salman Pandeglang yang berjumlah 3 orang. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis permulaan pada siswa Tunagrahita sedang melalui penggunaan media LCD Writing Tablet dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis permulaan pada siswa tunagrahita sedang kelas II SD dengan menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif eksperimen, peneliti menggunakan pre-eksperimen design one group pre-test post-test yaitu eksperimen yang dilakukan pada satu kelompok saja tanpa kelompok pembanding. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penggunaan media LCD Writing Tablet dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis permulaan pada siswa tunagrahita sedang kelas II SD di SKh Farkhan As- Salman sangat efektif dan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis pernulis permulaan.
