Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Games Tournament (TGT) terhadap motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI di SMKN 4 Kota Serang. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian eksperimen semu dengan menggunakan desain penelitian Non-equivalent control group design. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kelas XI TP 1 dan XI TP 3 dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 68 siswa dengan teknik sampling yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah teknik sampling jenuh, yang dimana seluruh populasi akan dijadikan sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Game Tournament (TGT) mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan data hasil pengujian regresi jalur I dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel X mempunyai nilai 0,013 < 0,05 yang artinya variabel X berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel Z. Hal ini juga didukung oleh hasil wawancara yang menyebutkan bahwa pembelajaran TGT memberikan dampak motivasi belajar siswa dengan faktor yaitu: aspirasi atau cita-cita, kemampuan siswa, kondisi siswa, kondisi lingkungan sekolah, dan unsur-unsur dinamis dalam belajar. (2) Model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Game Tournament (TGT) mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan data hasil pengujian regresi jalur II bahwa variabel X mempunyai nilai 0,002 < 0,05 yang artinya variabel X berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel Y. Sedangkan hasil dari perhitungan uji pasrsial (T) dengan model konvensional mendapatkan nilai signifikasi 0,772 > 0,05 yang berarti tidak ada perbedaan antara hasil prestest dan hasil post-test pada kelas kontrol. Sedangkan pada kelas eksperimen terdapat nilai signifikasi 0,015 < 0,05 yang berarti ada perbedaan terhadap hasil pre-test dan post-test kelas eksperimen.

Additional Information: This study aims to determine the effect of the application of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) type cooperative learning model on learning motivation and learning outcomes of grade XI students at SMKN 4 Serang City. This research is a type of pseudo-experimental research using a Non-equivalent control group design. The samples used in this study were XI TP 1 and XI TP 3 classes with a total of 68 students, for the sampling technique used in this study was a saturated sampling technique, where the entire population would be sampled. The results showed that: (1) Teams Game Tournament (TGT) type cooperative learning model is able to increase student learning motivation. This is evidenced by the data from the regression test results of path I. It can be concluded that the X variable has a value of 0.013 <0.05, which means that the X variable has a significant effect on the Z variable. This is also supported by the results of interviews which state that TGT learning has an impact on student learning motivation with factors, namely: aspirations or ideals, student abilities, student conditions, school environmental conditions, and dynamic elements in learning. (2) Teams Game Tournament (TGT) type cooperative learning model is able to improve student learning outcomes. This is evidenced by the data from the regression test results of path II that variable X has a value of 0.002 <0.05, which means that variable X has a significant effect on variable Y. While the results of the calculation of the partial test (T) with the conventional model get a significance value of 0.772> 0.05, which means that there is no difference between the pretest results and the post-test results in the control class. While in the experimental class there is a significance value of 0.015 <0.05 which means there is a difference in the pre-test and post-test results of the experimental class.
