Abstract

During the learning process, teachers do not utilize creative, innovative, interactive and interesting learning media. So there needs to be learning media that supports the learning process. Therefore, researchers decided to use animated video media with the context of Betawi Traditional houses in learning. This research & development aims to develop animated videos using the context of Betawi traditional houses, especially on the material properties of flat, square, rectangular, trapezoidal and triangular buildings, to describe the level of validity of the developed animated video media and to measure students' understanding after using animated video media. This research was conducted at SDN Malaka Sari 02 in class III B which amounted to 26 students consisting of 14 boys and 12 girls. This research method is R&D (Research and Development) using 4D models (define, design, develop, and disseminet). The results of the media expert validation from the two validators obtained an average percentage of 95.8%, receiving the "very feasible" criteria. The results of the learning material expert validation from the two validators received an average percentage of 82.3%, receiving the "very feasible" criteria. The validation results of the learning language experts from the two validators received an average percentage of 83%, receiving the "very feasible " criteria. The overall average percentage of validators received an average percentage of 87% and received the "very feasible" criteria. The increase in understanding after being tested for N-gain was 0.47, which is included in the "medium" criteria. From these results it can be concluded that animated videos are "very feasible " to be used in learning and can improve students' understanding.

Additional Information: Saat proses pembelajaran guru kurang memanfaatkan media pembelajaran yang kreatif, inovatif, interaktif dan menarik. Sehingga perlu adanya media pembelajaran yang mendukung proses pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, peneliti memutuskan untuk menggunakan media video animasi dengan konteks rumah Adat Betawi dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian & pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan video animasi menggunakan konteks rumah adat betawi, khususnya pada materi sifat-sifat bangun datar, persegi, persegi panjang, trapesium dan segitiga, untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat validitas media video animasi yang dikembangkan dan untuk mengukur pemahaman peserta didik setelah menggunakan media video animasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN Malaka Sari 02. Metode penelitian ini adalah R&D (Research and Development) dengan menggunakan model 4D (define, design, develop, dan disseminet). Hasil validasi ahli Media dari kedua validator mendapatkan persentase rata-rata 95,8% mendapat kriteria “sangat layak”. Hasil validasi ahli materi pembelajaran dari kedua validator mendapat persentase rata-rata 82,3% mendapat kriteria “sangat layak”. Hasil validasi ahli bahasa pembelajaran dari kedua validator mendapat persentase rata�rata 83% mendapat kriteria “sangat layak”. Persentase rata-rata keseluruhan dari validator mendapat persentase rata-rata 87% mendapat kriteria “sangat layak”. Peningkatan pemahaman setelah diuji N-gain adalah 0,47 yang termasuk kriteria “sedang”. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa video animasi “sangat layak” digunakan dalam pembelajaran dan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik.
