Abstract

This research entitled the influence of public accountability and clarity of budget targets on the performance of local government officials of Serang Regency. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is influence of public accountability and clarity of budget targets partial on the performance of regional government officials of Serang Regency. The implementation of good governance and clean governance requires the presence of Civil Servants as the driving force of high performing government organizations so as to improve the performance of regional organizations of Serang Regency. Research method using quantitative method. The design of this study consisted of the design of deksripitf and causal design. Data collection technique was done by distributing questionnaires with the number of samples of 93 respondents who are willing to be respondents. Data analysis used statistical testing with SPSS Version 20 statistics program Based on the results of data processing, known Adjusted R Square value of 0.216. This shows that variation in performance variable of local government apparatus is explained by 21,6% by public accountability variable and clarity of budget target while the rest equal to 78,4% explained by other variable not examined. Result of t test, known public accountability and clarity of budget target have an effect on to performance of local government apparatus of Regency of Serang by partial Keyword : Public Accountability, Clarity of Budget Target, Performance of Regional Government Officials.
