Abstract
Teaching materials are crucial to be developed in accordance with the characteristics of learners so as to enhance learner engagement in the learning process. This research and development aims to examine the development process, viability, and responses of pupils to teaching materials for conservation education that are flora-focused and integrated into the IPAS curriculum for fourth-grade elementary school students. The ADDIE development model is used in this study as part of the Research and Development (R&D) methodology. A requirements analysis was carried out for this study using interviews, a product feasibility validation questionnaire for subject matter experts, media experts, and language experts, as well as a questionnaire for elementary school fourth-graders' responses. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis with the Likert and Guttman scale. The interpretation process then used Sri's criteria for student response questionnaires and Mawardi's criteria for expert questionnaires. 25 fourth-graders from SDN Sukabela during the academic year 2023–2024 served as the study's subjects. An educational conservation teaching material with a flora focus for fourth-grade elementary schools is the developmental outcome of this study. A "very feasible" rating was given for the subject matter expert validation, a "very feasible" rating was given for the media expert validation, and a "very feasible" rating was given for the language expert validation based on the results of the product validation. As a result, the overall percentage of product viability fulfills the "very feasible" and the student responses are "very good." Consequently, the conservationeducation teaching material on the topic of flora in the IPAS subject for fourth-grade elementary school is highly suitable and excellent for use in the learning process for fourth-grade students in elementary school.

Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui cara pengembangan, kelayakan, dan respon peserta didik terhadap bahan ajar pendidikan konservasi dengan bahasan flora pada mata pelajaran IPAS untuk kelas IV sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Dalam penelitian ini, analisis kebutuhan dilakukan melalui wawancara, angket validasi kelayakan produk untuk tim ahli materi, media, dan bahasa, dan angket respons dari siswa kelas IV SD. Analisis deskriptif skala Likert dan Guttman digunakan untuk menganalisis data. Kriteria Mawardi untuk angket ahli dan Sri untuk angket respons peserta didik kemudian digunakan untuk interpretasi. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah 25 peserta didik kelas IV SDN Sukabela tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah produk pengembangan berupa bahan ajar pendidikan konservasi yang mengangkat topik flora untuk kelas IV sekolah dasar. Berdasarkan hasil validasi produk, dari ahli materi memperoleh sangat layak, validasi ahli media memperoleh kriteria sangat layak, dan validasi ahli bahasa memperoleh kriteria sangat layak. Maka keseluruhan persentase kelayakan produk memperoleh kriteria sangat layak, serta respon peserta didik memperoleh dengan kriteria sangat baik. Oleh karena itu, bahan ajar pendidikan konservasi dengan topik bahasan flora pada mata pelajaran IPAS di kelas IV sekolah dasar sangat layak dan sangat baik untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran peserta didik di kelas IV SD. | |||||||||
