Abstract

The development of information and communication technology (ICT) is currently very rapid. Based on the results of the We Are Social survey in 2023 there are 212.9 million internet users in Indonesia which is equivalent to 77% of the population using the internet. As technology develops rapidly, students must improve their digital literacy skills. One of the efforts to design an increase in digital literacy can be done using a web schoology-based learning model to find out and analyze the extent of digital literacy students have. This study aims to analyze students' digital literacy in colloid learning through web Schoology. This research was conducted with 37 research subjects in class XI MIPA 1 at the Islamic Center High School in Tangerang City. The research method used is qualitative research with a case study approach. Data collection techniques used preliminary analysis of teachers and students, reflective journals, observations, digital literacy questionnaires, and interviews. The dimensions of digital literacy analyzed in this study are the dimensions of information, communication, content creation, security, and problem-solving. The results of this study show that students' digital literacy in the dimensions of information, content creation, and problem-solving has a good category. Meanwhile, the dimensions of communication and security have a very good category. So that it can be concluded that the overall digital literacy of students in class XI MIPA 1 at the Islamic Center High School in Tangerang City is in a good category.

Additional Information: Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) pada saat ini sangatlah pesat. Berdasarkan hasil survey We Are Social pada tahun 2023 terdapat 212.9 Juta pengguna internet di Indonesia yang setara dengan 77% dari populasi telah menggunakan internet. Seiring berkembang pesatnya teknologi maka peserta didik harus meningkatkan kemampuan literasi digital yang dimilikinya. Salah satu upaya untuk merancang peningkatkan literasi digital dapat dilakukan model pembelajaran berbasis web schoology guna mengetahui dan menganalisis sejauh mana literasi digital yang dimiliki peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis literasi digital peserta didik dalam pembelajaran koloid melalui web schoology. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 37 peserta didik kelas XI MIPA 1 di SMA Islamic Centre Kota Tangerang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan analisis pendahuluan guru dan peserta didik, reflektif jurnal, observasi, kuesioner literasi digital, dan wawancara. Dimensi literasi digital yang dianalisis pada penelitian ini yaitu dimensi informasi, komunikasi, pembuatan konten, keamanan, dan pemecahan masalah. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan literasi digital peserta didik pada dimensi informasi, pembuatan konten, dan pemecahan masalah memiliki kategori baik. Sedangkan, dimensi komunikasi dan keamanan memiliki kategori sangat baik. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan secara keseluruhan literasi digital peserta didik pada kelas XI MIPA 1 di SMA Islamic Centre Kota Tangerang termasuk ke dalam kategori baik.
