Abstract

The purpose of preparing this final project is to find out how the promotion strategy is for the new student admissions program at the Al-Zahira Banten Education Foundation. The writing method used is a qualitative method. Secondary data is obtained directly from books, scientific journals, foundations and online from the internet. Data collection in this final project uses interviews, observation and documentation of secondary data. The type of data collected is primary data obtained from the chairman and promotion staff of the Al-Zahira Banten Education Foundation. The results of the final project show that the promotion capabilities of the new student admission program are good and carried out with strategies in the form of advertising, sales promotion, events and experiences, public relations and publicity, personal selling, direct marketing, interactive marketing and word of mouth marketing. The Al-Zahira Banten Education Foundation needs to increase the use of social media, one of which is social media belonging to less active foundations such as Facebook and Youtube.

Additional Information: Tujuan penyusunan tugas akhir ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi promosi pada program penerimaan peserta didik baru di Yayasan Pendidikan Al-Zahira Banten. Metode penulisan yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif. Data sekunder diperoleh secara langsung dari buku, jurnal ilmiah, yayasan maupun secara online dari internet. Pengumpulan data dalam tugas akhir ini menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi data sekunder, jenis data yang dikumpulkan adalah data primer yang didapat dari ketua dan staff promosi Yayasan Pendidikan Al-Zahira Banten. Hasil tugas akhir memperlihatkan bahwa kemampuan promosi pada program penerimaan peserta didik baru sudah baik dan dilakukan dengan strategi berupa periklanan, promosi penjualan, acara dan pengalaman, hubungan masyarakat dan publisitas, penjualan personal, pemasaran langsung, pemasaran interaktif dan pemasaran dari mulut ke mulut. Yayasan Pendidikan Al-Zahira Banten perlumeningkatkan penggunaan media sosial, salah satunya media sosial milik yayasan yang kurang aktif seperti Facebook dan Youtube.
