Abstract

The focus of the research is the effect of professionalism on the performance of Civil Servants at the Settlement Insfrastructure Center in the Banten Region. The problem of the research is the high level of absenteeism for civil servants, and the completion of additional assignments beyond the allotted time. The purpose of this research is to find out and analyze how much influence professionalism has on the performance of Civil Servants at the Settlement Insfrastructure Center in the Banten Region. This research method used associative research methods using a quantitative approach. The population in this study were Civil Servants who worked at the Settlement Insfrastructure Center in the Banten Region with a total sample of 55 people. The sampling technique used the Saturated Sampling technique. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant influence between professionalism on the performance of Civil Servants with the magnitude of the influence reaching 75.4% and the remaining 24.6% estimated to be influenced by other factors. Suggestions of the study are to conduct a review regarding the provision of additional assignments to Civil Servants, and the need for a review of employee work schedules, as well as increasing discipline in employee work time.

Additional Information: Fokus penelitian adalah pengaruh profesionalisme terhadap kinerja Pegawai Negeri Sipil di Balai Prasarana Permukiman Wilayah Banten. Permasalahan pada penelitian ini adalah tingginya tingkat absensi “tidak masuk tanpa keterangan” Pegawai Negeri Sipil, dan penyelesaian tugas tambahan melebihi waktu yang telah ditentukan. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis seberapa besar pengaruh profesionalisme terhadap kinerja Pegawai Negeri Sipil di Balai Prasarana Permukiman Wilayah Banten. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian asosiatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Pegawai Negeri Sipil yang bekerja di Balai Prasarana Permukiman Wilayah Banten dengan jumlah sampel sebesar 55 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Sampling Jenuh. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara profesionalisme terhadap kinerja Pegawai Negeri Sipil dengan besarnya pengaruh mencapai 75,4% dan sisanya 24,6% diperkirakan dipengaruhi oleh faktor lainnya. Saran dalam penelitian ini yaitu melakukan pengkajian ulang mengenai pemberian tugas tambahan kepada Pegawai Negeri Sipil, dan perlunya dilakukan pengkajian ulang mengenai jadwal kerja pegawai, serta meningkatkan kedisiplinan waktu kerja pegawai.
