Abstract

Multiliteracy is an effort to help students improve various skills in the 21st century. Multiliteracy can be collaborated with interactive learning media such as Gift Boxes. Media gift boxes consist of scientific literacy, textual literacy, audio literacy and visual literacy. The purpose of this research and development is to find out the process of developing Gift Box media, find out the feasibility of the media and find out the responses of students after using multiliteracy-based Gift Box media which is integrated with the discovery model in class VI students. The sampling technique in this study was purposive sampling. The sample in this study were 28 students in class VI B. The research method used was RnD (Research & Development) with the Lee & Owens development model which went through five stages, namely 1) needs assessment and end-end analysis, 2) design, 3) development, 4) implementation, 5) evaluation. The instrument in this study include interview, observation, documentation and questionnaires. Based on the media feasibility assessment of media, it was obtained that, the feasibility level in terms of media was 89.25% and in the "very decent" category, in terms of material it was 91.4% and it was in the "very decent" category, and in terms of language it was 79% and it was in the category "worthy". The average value of the experts is 86.55% which is included in the "very feasible" category. The researcher conducted a trial run and based on the student's response questionnaire obtained 93% results in the "very good" category. It was concluded that the Gift Box media obtained very appropriate criteria and received very good responses from students.

Additional Information: Multiliterasi merupakan salah satu upaya untuk membantu peserta didik meningkatkan berbagai keterampilan di abad 21. Multiliterasi dapat dikolaborasikan dengan media pembelajaran yang interaktif seperti Gift Box. Media Gift Box terdiri dari literasi sains, literasi tekstual, literasi audio, dan literasi visual. Tujuan penelitian dan pengembangan ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan media Gift Box, mendeskripsikan kelayakan media dan mendeskripsikan respons peserta didik setelah menggunakan media Gift Box berbasis multiliterasi yang diintegrasikan dengan model penemuan pada peserta didik kelas VI. Teknik sampling pada penelitian ini yaitu purposive sampling. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu 28 peserta didik kelas VI B. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah R&D (Research & Development) dengan model pengembangan Lee & Owens yang melalui lima tahapan yaitu 1) penilaian kebutuhan dan analisis awal-akhir, 2) desain, 3) Pengembangan, 4) implementasi, 5) evaluasi. Adapun instrumen yang ada dalam penelitian ini meliputi wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan angket. Berdasarkan penilaian kelayakan media diperoleh hasil tingkat kelayakan dari segi media sebesar 89,25% dan masuk kategori “sangat layak”, dari segi materi sebesar 91,4% dan masuk kategori “sangat layak”, serta dari segi bahasa sebesar 79% dan masuk kategori “layak”. Adapun nilai rata-rata kelayakan media dari para ahli sebesar 86,55% yang termasuk dalam kategori “sangat layak”. Kemudian setelah dilakukan revisi media sesuai dengan saran perbaikan validator, peneliti melakukan uji coba dan berdasarkan angket respons peserta didik diperoleh hasil 93% dengan kategori “sangat baik”. Dengan demikian disimpulkan bahwa media Gift Box mendapatkan kriteria sangat layak dan mendapatkan respons sangat baik dari peserta didik.
