Abstract
PAYROLL INFORMATION SYSTEM AT PT. POS INDONESIA OFFICE OF SERANG NOVA ANGGRIANA SIREGAR 5501150010 PT Pos Indonesia Serang office provides services for receiving and sending packages in the form of goods and letters that cover all parts of Indonesia, of course, to carry out satisfying services competent employees are needed, for the sake of improving the quality of performance at PT Pos Serang, employees need good and appropriate wages. The purpose of this thesis is to describe the payroll information system and its implementation at PT. Pos Indonesia Serang office. The writing method used is descriptive method, the type of data obtained from this writing is in the form of primary data based on observations, interviews and documentation. The results of the observations were in the form of company data such as history and organizational structure, semi-structured technical interviews with HR employees, accounting and general supervisory managers as sources and documentation in the form of pictures and results from interviews. The results showed that the application of the payroll information system of PT. Pos Indonesia Serang office in accordance with Mulyadi's theory as a comparison that the author uses, this is indicated by the existence of a payroll procedure that is implemented very well according to the components that apply to the company, the recording of payroll that applies to the company consists of recording attendance, recording salary lists and journals as well as a system of internal control over payroll in the PT POS Indonesia kantor Serang accordance with Hall theory in Kurniawan book which is implemented properly, namely the separation of duties, transaction authorization, maintenance of uptime and accounting records. Pos Indonesia kantor Serang. Metode penulisan yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif, jenis data yang di peroleh dari penulisan ini berbentuk data primer yang berdasarkan dari hasil observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari observasi berupa data perusahaan seperti sejarah dan struktur organisasi, wawancara teknik semi terstruktur dengan pegawai bagian SDM, akuntasi dan manajer pengawas umum sebagai narasumber serta dokumentasi berupa gambar dan hasil dari wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan sistem informasi penggajian PT. Pos Indonesia kantor Serang sesuai dengan teori Mulyadi sebagai pembanding yang penulis gunakan, hal ini ditandai dengan adanya prosedur penggajian dilaksanakan dengan sangat baik sesuai komponen yang berlaku pada perusahaan, pencatatan penggajian yang berlaku pada perusahaan terdiri dari pencatatan waktu hadir, pencatatan daftar gaji dan jurnal juga sistem pengendalian internal pada PT POS Indonesia kantor Serang dilaksanakan dengan baik sesuai dengan teori Hall dalam buku Kurniawan yakni adanya pemisahan tugas, otorisasi transaksi, penjagaan waktu kerja dan catatan akuntansi.
