Abstract
The purpose of the study was to determine the role of the Office of Women's Empowerment, Child Protection, Population and Family Planning in handling cases of sexual violence against women in Banten Province. This research was conducted in Banten Province using a qualitative approach. Data collection using observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study found that DP3AKKB plays a very important role as a facilitator in overcoming cases of sexual violence against women in Banten Province. The UPTD PPA plays a role in overcoming cases of sexual violence against women from the process of reporting cases, health referrals, legal aid assistance, psychological recovery of victims, escorting to the police, until the case is resolved. DP3AKKB is also a place for education and dissemination of women's rights. Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that the role of the agency is very important to reduce cases of sexual violence against women with the handling that has been determined by DP3AKKB and UPTD PPA as a community service in handling cases of sexual violence against women and increasing public awareness to report cases of sexual violence against women.

| Additional Information: | Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui peran Dinas Pemberdayaan Perempuan, Perlindungan Anak, Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana dalam menangani kasus kekerasan seksual terhadap perempuan di Provinsi Banten. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Provinsi Banten dengan menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa DP3AKKB sangat berperan sebagai fasilitator dalam mengatasi kasus kekerasan seksual terhadap perempuan di Provinsi Banten. UPTD PPA berperan dalam mengatasi kasus kekerasan seksual terhadap perempuan dari mulai proses pengaduan kasus yang dilaporkan, rujukan kesehatan, pendampingan bantuan hukum, pemulihan psikologis korban, mengantar kepihak kepolisian, sampai dengan kasus tersebut selesai. DP3AKKB juga menjadi tempat pendidikan dan penyebarluasan hak-hak perempuan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa, peran dinas sangat penting untuk menekan kasus kekerasan seksual terhadap perempuan dengan penanganan yang sudah ditentukan oleh DP3AKKB dan UPTD PPA sebagai pelayanan masyarakat dalam menangani kasus kekerasan seksual terhadap perempuan dan meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat untuk melaporkan kasus kekerasan seksual terhadap perempuan. | |||||||||
