Abstract
This study aims to examine the effect of the defender strategy on personnel control, action control, result control, and cultural control. This study uses a quantitative approach. The number of samples used was 75 respondents who are owners of go-food partner culinary MSMEs in the Kragilan sub-district. The non-probability sampling method uses a purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique is by distributing online questionnaires consisting of 15 statement items with a 5-point Likert scale. The research data was processed using the smartPLS 3.2.9 analysis tool. The data processing method uses the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) modeling equation by conducting validity tests, reliability tests, R-Square tests and t tests. The results of this study are: 1) The defender strategy has a positive and significant effect on personnel control. 2) The defender strategy has a positive and significant effect on action control. 3) The defender strategy has a positive and significant effect on results control. 4) The defender strategy has a positive and significant effect on cultural control.
