Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of gadgets on the social abilities of children aged 5 -6 years in Cikupa District, Tangerang-Banten. The method used in this research is quantitative research using survey methods. The sample technique in this study is by using purposive sampling. The purposive sampling technique of this study was the selection of samples that prioritized certain criteria and objectives and the research subjects, namely 30 parents of students who had children aged 5-6 years. This study used data collection techniques in the form of research instruments, observation and data analysis using SPSS 26.0. The results show that testing the hypothesis using the t-test shows that there is an influence but low between the use of gadgets on social abilities because the sig value is 0.428> 0.05. Additional Information:	Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan penggunaan gadget terhadap kemampuan sosial anak usia 5 -6 tahun di Kecamatan Cikupa, Tangerang-Banten. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode survei. Teknik sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu dengan menggunakan purposive sampling. Teknik purposive sampling penelitian ini adalah pemilihan sampel yang mengutamakan kriteria dan tujuan tertentu dan subjek penelitian yaitu 30 0rang tua murid yang mempunyai anak usia 5-6 tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa instrument penelitian, observasi dan analisis data menggunakan SPSS 26.0. Hasil menunjukan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji-t diperoleh bahwa terdapat pengaruh tetapi rendah antara penggunaan gadget terhadap kemampuan sosial karena nilai sig 0,428>0,05.
