Abstract

This research focuses on the application of cooperative learning types Team Games Tournament. The purpose of this study was to increase students' understanding of dance art material at SMA Negeri 24 Kabupaten Tangerang. The method used is the Classroom Action Research or PTK method using the Kemmis and Mc Taggart models, which are carried out with pre-cycle meeting, cycle I, and cycle II, which each cycle has four meetings. The first cycle showed a result of 50% and the second cycle showed a result of 71.875%, resulting in an increase of 21.875%. Students are able to increase understanding through cooperative learning of the Team Games Tournament type as seen from the increase in cycles I and II. The effectiveness of learning can be seen through the ability to analyze, evaluate, and develop what is done by students. Keywords: Classroom Action Research, Dance, Team Games Tournament.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini berfokus pada penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Games Tournament. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan pemahaman materi seni tari pada siswa/siswi di SMA Negeri 24 Kabupaten Tangerang. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas atau PTK dengan model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart, yang dilakukan dengan pertemuan pra siklus, siklus I, dan siklus II, yang tiap siklus nya memiliki empat kali pertemuan. Siklus pertama menunjukkan hasil 50% dan pada siklus kedua menunjukan hasil 71,875%, sehingga memperoleh peningkatan sebanyak 21,875%. Siswa mampu meningkatkan pemahaman melalui pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Games Tournament yang terlihat dari peningkatan di siklus I dan II. Efektifitas pembelajaran dapat dilihat melalui kemampuan menganalisis, mengevaluasi, dan mengembangkan yang dilakukan oleh peserta didik. Kata kunci: Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, Seni Tari, Team Games Tournament.
