Abstract
Radio community of 107,8 SQS FM is a radio community was legal in Banten and it has been actively since September 2007. SQS radio community has the broadcast programs are containing informations, news, and entertainment for the community. The research is intended to know how big the influence of the contents communty radio to fulfillment of students Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Serang information needs. The research is using Uses and Effect theory, the theory told about the craving of information becomes the factor that causes media usage. The research method used is quantitative method, with proportionate stratified random sampling technique and distributed questionnaires to 90 respondents, who are the students of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Serang. According to the research result, there’s a strong correlations between the contents communty radio variable and the fulfillment of students Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Serang information needs, as big as 0.685. The hypothesis from this research showed there’s an effect between the contents SQS radio community and the fulfillment of students Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Serang information needs. The determination coefficient result is 47% means the fulfillment of students Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Serang information needs was affected by the contents SQS radio community, while the rest 53% was affected by other factors.

| Additional Information: | Radio komunitas 107,8 SQS FM merupakan salah satu radio komunitas yang ada di Banten yang aktif sejak September 2007 Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh isi siaran radio komunitas SQS FM terhadap pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Uses and Effect. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif, dengan menggunakan teknik proportionate stratified random sampling dan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada 90 responden. Hasil penelitian terdapat korelasi yang kuat antara variabel isi siaran radio komunitas SQS FM dengan variabel pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi siswa Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Kota Serang, yaitu sebesar 0. 685. Hipotesis penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh antara isi siaran radio komunitas SQS FM terhadap pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi siswa Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Kota Serang. Hasil koefisien determinasi sebesar 47% yang berarti pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi siswa Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Kota Serang dipengaruhi oleh isi siaran radio komunitas SQS FM, sisanya 53% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. | |||||||||
