Abstract
The new UNTIRTA Sindangsari campus is the center of campus services, the rectorate and four faculties, namely the faculty of economics, the faculty of agriculture, the faculty of law, the faculty of social science and political science. The relocation of the campuses for the four faculties from the old location affected the factor of choosing the mode of transportation to campus for UNTIRTA members, especially for lecturers.The choice of transportation mode is based on the needs of each individual, choosing to use public transportation or using private transportation of course must consider several aspects whether from travel time, costs incurred, safety using transportation, comfort in travel, accessibility, and mobility. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics and selection of modes of transportation for lecturers to the new UNTIRTA Sindangsari campus with the attributes of fare, time, convenience, security, accessibility and mobility using the Stated Preference method. The results of the survei found that the characteristics of respondents were 54% male and 46% female with the majority of respondents aged 30-40 years. The probability of private transportation modes is higher when compared to public transportation modes, namely the cost attribute is 95%, the time attribute is 96%, the service attribute is 96%, the safety attribute is 97% , the accessibility attribute is 95% and the mobility attribute is 96%. From the research results, it was found that the majority of respondents preferred to use private modes of transportation to get to the new UNTIRTA Sindangsari campus. | Additional Information: | Kampus baru UNTIRTA Sindangsari merupakan pusat dari layanan kampus, rektorat dan empat fakultas yaitu fakultas ekonomi, fakultas pertanian, fakultas hukum, fakultas ilmu sosial dan ilmu politik. Berpindah nya kampus untuk empat fakultas tersebut dari lokasi yang lama mempengaruhi faktor pemilihan moda transportasi menuju kampus bagi sivitas UNTIRTA terkhusus bagi dosen.Pemilihan moda transportasi didasari oleh kebutuhan masing – maisng individu, memilih menggunakan transportasi umum maupun menggunakan transportasi pribadi tentunya pasti mempertimbangkan beberapa aspek entah dari waktu tempuh, biaya yang dikeluarkan, keamanan menggunakan transportasi, kenyamanan dalam perjalanan ,aksesibilitas, dan mobilitas. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui karakteristik serta pemilihan moda transportasi bagi dosen menuju kampus baru UNTIRTA Sindangsari dengan atribut tarif, waktu, kenyamanan, keamanan, aksesibilitas dan mobilitas dengan menggunakan metode Stated Preference. Hasil dari data survey karakteristik umum pengguna dalam pemilihan moda adalah responden merupakan 54% berjenis kelamin pria dan 46% berjenis kelamin wanita dengan mayoritas responden usia 30 - 40 tahun. Probabilitas moda transportasi pribadi lebih tinggi jika dibandingkan dengan moda transportasi umum yaitu pada atribut tarif perjalanan (cost) sebesar 95%, atribut waktu (time) sebesar 96% dan atribut kenyamanan pelayanan (service) sebesar 96%, atribut keamanan (safety) 97%, atribut aksesibilitas (accessibility) 95%, atribut mobilitas (mobility) 96%. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa mayoritas responden lebih memilih menggunakan moda transportasi pribadi untuk menuju kampus baru UNTIRTA Sindangsari.
