Abstract
This research is based on the importance of religious character in learners. This study aims to provide an overview of the implementation of Qur'anic learning with the ummi method in strengthening religious character in students. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The data obtained by researchers in the field uses data collection techniques, namely interviews, observations, and documentation. The subjects of this study were the Qur'an Coordinator of the Elementary School Unit, teachers in the field of the Qur'an, and students in class IV SDIT Widya Cendekia Serang, Banten. The results showed that in planning the learning of the Qur'an with the ummi method, there are learning components that need to be prepared by the teacher, including: 1) understanding learning objectives, 2) understanding the content or learning material, 3) using learning methods, 4) preparing learning media, 5) evaluating. The process of implementing Qur'anic learning is carried out using 7 basic stages of the ummi method. Not only teaching science, teachers also take part in implementing character values that can be imitated by students through modeling, reinforcing, and habituating. The values of religious character seen in students in the process of learning the Qur’an with the ummi method are divided into 3, namely: 1) human relationship with Allah, such as: the value of obedience to Allah and gratitude, 2) relationships between people, such as: the value of patience, honesty, tolerance, sincerity, protecting the small and left out, firm stance, self-confidence, cooperation, friendship, not imposing the will, 3) relationship with the natural environment, such as: the value of loving the environment.

Additional Information: | Penelitian ini didasarkan pada pentingnya karakter religius pada peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran mengenai implementasi pembelajaran Al-Qur’an dengan metode ummi dalam penguatan karakter religius pada peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Data yang peneliti dapatkan di lapangan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah Koordinator Qur’an unit SD, guru bidang Al-Qur’an, dan peserta didik di kelas IV SDIT Widya Cendekia Serang, Banten. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam perencanaan pembelajaran Al-Qur’an dengan metode ummi terdapat komponen pembelajaran yang perlu dipersiapkan oleh guru diantaranya yaitu: 1) memahami tujuan pembelajaran, 2) memahami isi atau materi pembelajaran, 3) penggunaan metode pembelajaran, 4) mempersiapkan media pembelajaran, 5) melakukan evaluasi. Proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran Al-Qur’an dilakukan dengan menggunakan 7 tahapan dasar metode ummi. Bukan hanya mengajarkan ilmu pengetahuan saja, guru juga turut andil dalam mengimplementasikan nilai-nilai karakter yang dapat ditiru oleh peserta didik melalui keteladanan, penguatan, dan pembiasaan. Nilai-nilai karakter religius yang terlihat dalam diri peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran Al-Quran dengan metode ummi dibagi menjadi 3 yakni : 1) hubungan manusia dengan Allah, seperti: nilai ketaatan kepada Allah dan bersyukur, 2) hubungan antar manusia, seperti: nilai kesabaran, kejujuran, toleransi, ketulusan, melindungi yang kecil dan tersisih, teguh pendirian, percaya diri, bekerja sama, persahabatan, tidak memaksakan kehendak, 3) hubungan dengan lingkungan alam, seperti: nilai mencintai lingkungan. | |||||||||
