Abstract

The Banten Provincial Agriculture Office plans to convert the existing building, namely a storage warehouse, into a packaging warehouse and a production house as a place for production and finishing of food products. The storage warehouse to be allocated needs to be re-planned to find out how much the performance of the structure affects the relocation of the building and review the feasibility of planning the previous structure on the service life of the building. This study aims to determine and evaluate the strength of existing buildings against new loads using the Load and Resistance Factor Design (LRFD) method due to changes in warehouse function. As well as recommending the strengthening of the structure to be carried out on the existing building to the Banten Provincial Agricultural Service. Based on the calculations that have been carried out, the strength value of the structure of all elements of the exeisting building has met the requirements except for the existing columns that are unable to carry the required load. The nominal compressive strength value of the existing IWF column of 200,100.5,5.8 obtained based on the calculation is 202.462 kN. This value is far from the need for the compressive strength of the need which is 255.075 kN. The alternative reinforcement used is to wrap the steel profile of the excitation column with reinforced concrete so that the column structure used is a composite column so that a nominal compressive strength capacity value of 1678.24 kN.

Additional Information: Dinas Pertanian Provinsi Banten berencana untuk mengalihfungsikan bangunan eksisting yaitu gudang penyimpanan menjadi gudang packaging dan production house sebagai tempat produksi serta finishing produk pangan. Gudang penyimpanan yang akan dialokasikan perlu dilakukan perencanaan ulang untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh kinerja struktur dari pengalihfungsian bangunan serta peninjauan kembali kelayakan perencanaan struktur sebelumnya terhadap usia pakai bangunan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mengevaluasi kekuatan bangunan eksisting terhadap beban-beban baru dengan metode Load and Resistance Factor Design (LRFD) akibat perubahan fungsi gudang. Serta merekomendasikan perkuatan struktur yang akan dilakukan terhadap bangunan eksisting kepada pihak Dinas Pertanian Provinsi Banten. Berdasarkan perhitungan yang sudah dilakukan, nilai kekuatan struktur semua elemen bangunan ekseisting sudah memenuhi persyaratan kecuali kolom eksisting yang tidak mampu untuk memikul beban yang diperlukan. Nilai kuat tekan nominal kolom eksisting IWF 200.100.5,5.8 yang didapat berdasarkan perhitungan adalah 202,462 kN. Nilai ini jauh dari kebutuhan kuat tekan perlunya yaitu 255,075 kN. Alternatif perkuatan yang digunakan yaitu membungkus profil baja kolom eksiting dengan beton bertulang sehingga struktur kolom yang dipakai adalah kolom komposit sehingga didapatkan nilai kapasitas kuat tekan nominal sebesar 1678,24 kN.
