Indah Cahyani. NIM 6662073028. Skripsi. “Strategi Manajemen Humas Polda Banten pada Kasus Cikeusik. Citra kepolisian Republik Indonesia selalu menjadi perbincangan hangat diberbagai kalangan masyarakat di negeri ini. Mulai dari kalangan elite hingga kalangan bawah. Banyak kalangan menilai citra kepolisian saat ini terpuruk. Hal ini dipicu dengan munculnya berbagai kasus baik dugaan korupsi hingga kasus penyerangan seperti yang terjadi pada kasus penyerangan Cikeusik. Maka rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana strategi humas Polda Banten dalam membangun citra terkait kasus Cikeusik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui strategi manajemen humas Polda Banten dalam membangun citra terkait kasus Cikeusik. Model praktik humas yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah two way symmetrical model. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif. Jenis penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian adalah bahwa humas Polda Banten menggunakan strategi dengan memberikan pembinaan masyarakat sesuai Grand Strategi Polri mencangkup Trustbuilding, Partners, dan Excelence. Untuk mengelola strategi yang sudah direncanakan secara struktural humas Polda Banten bekerja sama dengan divisi PID (Pengelola informasi dokumentasi) , dan Penmas (penerangan masyarakat). Dalam pengimplementasian humas Polda Banten yang dibantu oleh divisi PID dan Penmas bekerja sama dengan media dalam bersosialisasi dan memberikan informasi terkait kasus Cikeusik. Dengan mengumpulkan kliping dari berbagai macam media cetak serta memantau pemberitaan di media elektronik, humas Polda Banten mengevaluasi keberhasilan strategi manajemen yang sudah dijalankan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa strategi yang digunakan berhasil membangun citra Polda Banten terkait kasus Cikeusik. Peneliti merekomendasikan agar penelitian selanjutnya melalukan penelitian tentang citra Polri dengan kasus yang lainnya, selain itu peneliti juga menyarankan agar Polri dapat lebih baik dalam menjalankan fungsinya demi tercipta citra positif dikalangan masyarakat.

Many people assessing the current image of the police force collapsed. This is triggered by the emergence of cases of alleged corruption to either assault case as in the case of the Cikeusik. Then the formulation of the problem in this study is how the PR of Banten Police strategy in building the image of Cikeusik related cases. The purpose of this study was to determine the management strategies of public relations in building the image of the Banten Police related cases Cikeusik. Models of public relations practices used in this study is two way symmetrical model. This study uses a qualitative approach. This type of research is descriptive. Data were collected through observation and interviews. Results of the study is that PR of Banten Police using community development strategies to provide appropriate Trustbuilding Grand Strategy encompasses Police, Partners, and Excellence. Strategies to manage the planned structural Banten Police public relations division in collaboration with PID (Manager documentation information), and Penmas (public information). Police in implementing the public relations division of Bantam, assisted by the PID and Penmas cooperate with the social media and provide information related to the case Cikeusik. By collecting clippings from a wide range of print media as well as monitoring the news in electronic media, PR of Banten Police to evaluate the success of management strategies that have been executed. This study concluded that the strategy used successfully build an image associated Banten Police Cikeusik case. The researcher recommends that further research about the image of the Police put through research with other cases, besides the researchers also suggested that the police can better perform its functions in order to create a positive image among the public. |
