Abstract

This study was to clarify the diversity of diurnal insects in the Sangiang Island Nature Tourism Park, Serang Banten. The survey hand sorted method and trapping method to conduct a survey and find it. The survey was conducted in March - July 2021 in three locations. Legon Waru Hills, Mangrove Forest (Tembuyung) and Beach Forest on TWA Island in Serang Banten. Furthermore, flying insect net samples used 70% alcohol for anesthesia. The insect sting technique is 5-10 minutes, but without stinging for 2-3 minutes, insects in labeled plastic are first photographed, identified and release again. Anesthetize soil insects and soil insects separated with mattock, tweezers, foolscap, spande, 70% alcohol soil insects, (hand sorted method), label with plastic, take pictures and identify And release again. The identification process took place at the Biology Institute of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University and was validated in the etymology community of Diponogoro University and etymology community of the State University of Jakarta. Environmental parameters (soil pH, substrate type humidity, temperature, and GPS point) were measured directly using a hygrometer, camera, magnifying glass, lux meter, 15x30 plastic, soil tester, thermometer, string of raffia and scissors. The results of the study identified data from 26 diurnal insects. The highest diversity index is: From 2,514 to 15 diurnal insects in coastal forest. The highest diversity index (H') was: 2.8978. Diversity is still in the almost high category (1 < H` < 3). Expert booklet evaluation 87,5% very good category, in the form of an invertebrate subconcept booklet for Class X students, suitable as a source for learning biology Keywords: Booklet, diurnal, diversity, insects, learning resources This study was to clarify the diversity of diurnal insects in the Sangiang Island Nature Tourism Park, Serang Banten.
