Abstract
The purpose of this study is to find out contextual problems related to statistical material and to determine student learning trajectories in statistics material through the Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education Approach (PMRI). In this statistics lesson, it uses a real context, namely the Covid context which is expected to help students in their thinking activities to solve problems. This research method uses the design research method, the process of implementing this research includes 3 (three) stages, namely preparation of experiments preparing for the experiment, experimental design and retrospective analysis. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, tests and documentation, data analysis using qualitative analysis consisting of three methods, namely descriptive method, transcript method and clarification method. The initial hypothetical learning trajectory (HLT) design in this study included contextual problems, modeling, knowledge building and formal mathematics. The results of this study show that the implementation of the learning plan can help students understand the concept of data processing, namely by reading Covid data from various forms, processing data into tables and bar charts and identifying bar charts and reprocessing them. Thus it can be concluded that the use of contextual problems with learning tracjectory can trigger students to think about solving problems and other solutions so that mathematics learning will be more meaningful and easy to understand. Additional Information: | Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui masalah konteksual terkait materi statistika dan mengetahui lintasan belajar siswa pada materi statistika melalui Pendekatan Pendidikan Matematika Realistik Indonesia (PMRI). Pada pembelajaran statistika inimenggunakan konteks nyata yaitu konteks covid yang diharapkan dapat membantu siswa dalam kegiatan berpikirnya untuk menyelesaikan masalah. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode design research, proses pelaksanaan penelitian ini meliputi 3 (Tiga) tahap, yakni persiapan percobaan preparing for the experiment), percobaan desain (design experiment) dan analisis retrospektif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, tes dan dokumentasi, analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif yang terdiri dari tiga metode yaitu metode deskriptif, metode transkrip dan metode klrifikasi. Rancangan hypothetical learning trajectory (HLT) awal pada penelitian ini meliputi masalah kontekstual, pemodelan, membangun pengetahuan dan matematika formal. Hasil dari penelitian ini diketahui bahwa implementasi dari rancanagn pembelajaran dapat membantu siswa dalam memahami konsep pengolahan data yaitu dengan aktivitas membaca data covid dari berbagai bentuk, mengolah data kedalam tabel dan diagram batang serta mengidentifikasi diagram batang dan mengolahnya kembali. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan masalah kontekstual dengan lintasan belajar dapat memicu siswa untuk berpikir menyelesaikanmasalah dan solusi lainnya sehingga pembelajaran matematika akan lebih bermakna serta mudah untuk dipahami.
