Abstract

Risky Indah Yuniar. Analysis of Mathematical Critical Thinking Ability of SMPN 1 Pasarkemis Students in Online Learning During the Covid-19 Pandemic. Department of Mathematics Education. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. Tangerang 2022. Mathematics is a science that is used to meet needs in all fields, for example in the fields of economics, science, technology, industry, and others. A person capable of critical thinking will try to find, analyze information, evaluate information as well as make conclusions based on facts. Delivering material online can make students active in receiving material delivered by the teacher so that students are able to be interactive with computers as a learning medium. So the purpose of the study was to find out critical thinking skills and characteristics during online learning at SMPN 1 Pasarkemis. The subjects in this study were grade 7 students with 32 students, the technique to be used was purposive sampling. The design in this study is descriptive qualitative using 2 instruments, namely tests and interviews. From the research, the results were obtained, namely the ability to think critically in online learning obtained the results of high critical thinking ability 2 students, moderate critical thinking ability 7 students, low critical thinking ability 23 students. That way students are able to have high critical thinking skills with face- to-face learning. Keywords: math, critical thinking, offline learning, online learning

Seseorang mampu berpikir kritis akan berusaha mencari, menganalisis informasi, mengevaluasi informasi serta membuat kesimpulan berdasarkan fakta. menyampaikan materi melalui daring dapat membuat siswa aktif dalam menerima materi yang disampaikan guru sehingga siswa mampu interaktif dengan komputer sebagai media belajarnya. Maka tujuan penelitian mengetahui kemampuan berpikir kritis dan karakteristik selama pembelajaran daring di SMPN 1 Pasarkemis. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas 7 dengan 32 siswa, teknik yang akan digunakan yaitu purposive sampling. Desain pada penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan 2 instrumen yaitu tes dan wawancara. Dari penelitian didapat hasil nya yaitu kemampuan berpikir kritis pada pembelajaran daring didapat hasil kemampuan berpikir kritis tinggi 2 siswa, kemampuan berpikir kritis sedang 7 siswa, kemampuan berpikir kritis rendah 23 siswa. Dengan begitu siswa mampu memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis tinggi dengan pembelajaran tatap muka. Kata Kunci : matematika, berpikir kritis, pembelajaran luring, pembelajaran daring
