Abstract
The melinjo processing activity in Lebakwana Village is one of the community empowerment activities where melinjo is used as a variety of food or snacks, but there are several problems, namely the low family economy so that crafts can only be knowledge, low knowledge about product development and marketing, community participation in cooperative. This study aims to identify and analyze (1) the process of community empowerment in improving the family economy by the Subur Makmur Cooperative (2) Community empowerment strategies in improving the family economy by prosperous fertile cooperatives (3) The results of community empowerment in improving the family economy by prosperous suburban cooperatives in Lebakwana Kramatwatu Village, Serang. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive method. The technique of collecting data by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that (1) The community empowerment process went through 3 stages, namely: Awareness stage, by doing motivation in a relaxed way and participating in seminars. Capacity building, by providing trainings on the management of melinjo. Empowerment stage, by providing opportunities to conduct independent business and apply the knowledge that has been received. (2) The community empowerment strategy is carried out with 3 strategies. Namely: developing a business by looking at the potential of the Lebakwana village, namely the natural resources of the melinjo tree and the human resources that control the melinjo craftsmen. entrepreneurial ability by providing innovation in the form of making types of chips that include, flavors with various variants, and better packaging. And the use of local raw materials, by utilizing melinjo from cooperative members themselves and from Gunungsari village. (3) The results of community empowerment, namely: Being able to meet basic needs, an increase in family income and economy which in the end the basic needs of the family can be fulfilled properly. Peripheral cooperative members are able to reach the promotion of productive resources that are around to do. And freedom of participation, cooperative members are able to express opinions and participate in existing activities. Keywords: Community Empowerment, Cooperatives, Family Economy

| Additional Information: | Kegiatan pengolahan melinjo di Desa Lebakwana merupakan salah satu kegiatan pemberdayaan masyarakat yang mana melinjo dijadikan sebagai makanan atau cemilan yang bervariasi, namun terdapat beberapa masalah yaitu masih rendahnya ekonomi keluarga pengrajin melinjo, kurangnya pengetahuan mengenai pengemasan dan pemasaran produk, rendahnya partisipasi masyarakat dalam koperasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis (1) Proses pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam meningkatkan ekonomi keluarga oleh Koperasi Subur Makmur (2) Strategi pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam meningkatkan ekonomi keluarga oleh koperasi subur makmur (3) Hasil pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam meningkatkan ekonomi keluarga oleh koperasi subur makmur di Desa Lebakwana Kramatwatu Serang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Adapun Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Proses pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui 3 tahap yaitu: Tahap penyadaran, dengan melakukan motivasi dilakukan dengan cara mengobrol santai dan mengikutsertakan seminar. Tahap pengkapasitasan, dengan memberikan pelatihan-pelatihan mengenai pengelolaan melinjo. Tahap pendayaan, dengan memberikan kesempatan untuk melakukan usaha mandiri dan menerapkan ilmu yang telah diterima. (2) Strategi pemberdayaan masyarakat dilakukan dengan 3 strategi. Yaitu: mengembangkan usaha dengan melihat potensi desa lebakwana yakni SDA pohon melinjo dan SDM yang mayoritas pengrajin melinjo. Mengembangkan kemampuan kewirausahaan dengan memberikan inovasi berupa pembuatan jenis emping yang berbeda, rasa dengan berbagai varian, dan pengemasan yang lebih baik. Dan Penggunaan bahan baku lokal, dengan memanfaatkan melinjo dari anggota koperasi sendiri dan dari desa gunungsari. (3) Hasil pemberdayaan masyarakat, yaitu: Mampu dalam memenuhi kebutuhan dasar, adanya peningkatan pendapatan dan ekonomi keluarga yang akhirnya kebutuhan dasar keluarga dapat terpenuhi dengan baik. Anggota koperasi subur makmur mampu menjangkau sumber produktif yang ada disekitar untuk melakukan promosi. Dan Kebebasan berpartisipasi, anggota koperasi sudah mampu mengemukakan pendapat dan mengikuti kegiatan-kegiatan yang ada. Kata kunci: Ekonomi Keluarga, Koperasi, Pemberdayaan Masyarakat. | |||||||||
