Abstract
Women’s labor as a form of economic development to improve economy and people’s well being. There are 13 provinces in Indonesia that have a high value of female labor participation but have not reached the target, although the female labor participation rate is quite high, it is still constrained by economic problems. Then what are the factors that influence high value of female labor participation. In increasing the workforce women will influenced by factors of education, population, fertility and per capita income. This study used the panel data method with fixed effect model., using data from 13 provinces in Indonesia from 2016 until 2020. The results of the study show that education and numbers of birth do not influence the participation rate of the female labor force., while the number of inhabitants has a positive influence on the level of participation women’s labor force and per capita income has a negatively affect on female labor force participation rate. Additional Information: | ABSTRAK Tenaga kerja wanita sebagai bentuk dari pembangunan ekonomi guna meningkatkan perekonomian dan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Terdapat 13 provinsi di Indonesia yang memiliki nilai partisipasi tenaga kerja wanita yang tinggi belum mencapai target, meskipun angka partisipasi tenaga kerja wanitanya cukup tinggi masih memiliki permasalahan ekonomi, sehingga faktor apa yang mempengaruhi tingginya partisipasi tenaga kerja wanita tersebut. Dalam meningkatkan tenaga kerja wanita tentunya akan dipengaruhi oleh faktor pendidikan, jumlah penduduk, fertilitas dan pendapatan per kapita. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode data panel dengan model fixed effect, menggunakan data 13 provinsi di Indonesia dengan nilai tertinggi dari tahun 2016 sampai 2020. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan dan angka kelahiran tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap tingkat partisipasi angkatan kerja wanita, sedangkan jumlah penduduk memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap tingkat partisipasi angkatan kerja wanita dan pendapatan per kapita berpengaruh negatif terhadap tingkat partisipasi angkatan kerja wanita.
