Abstract
ABSTRACT This study describes social cohesion in schools using the zoning system. The current zoning system is one of the requirements for students to enter the education level. Prior to the zoning system, superior schools and non-seeded schools still applied. The government finally made a policy to equate all levels of education using the zoning system. The zoning system is seen based on the distance of the student's house to school. The research methodology used is qualitative research with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. Observation is a series of activities where researchers make observations. Interviews are researchers conducting question and answer with informants. Documentation is documents that support research results, namely in the form of photos, audio and interview notes. Researchers use the theory of M.Z. Lawang theory of Social Capital. The theory of social capital has three elements, namely social trust, social norms and social networks. The results of this study are the closeness that is produced through the zoning system that all school communities have trust in each other, carry out all existing regulations and have good relationships among school communities. | Additional Information: | ABSTRAK Penelitian ini menggambarkan tentang keeratan sosial di sekolah dengan menggunakan sistem zonasi. Sistem zonasi sekarang adalah salah satu syarat peserta didik untuk memasuki jenjang pendidikan. Sebelum adanya sistem zonasi, masih berlaku sekolah unggulan dan sekolah tidak unggulan. Pemerintah akhirnya membuat suatu kebijakan untuk menyamakan semua jenjang pendidikan dengan menggunakan sistem zonasi. Sistem zonasi tersebut dilihat berdasarkan jarak rumah peserta didik ke sekolah. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode Deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Observasi adalah rangkaian suatu kegiatan dimana peneliti melakukan pengamatan. Wawancara adalah peneliti melakukan Tanya jawab dengan narasumber. Dokumentasi adalah dokumen-dokumen yang mendukung hasil penelitian, yaitu berupa foto, audio serta catatan wawancara. Peneliti menggunakan teori M.Z. Lawang teori Kapital Sosial. Teori kapital sosial terdapat tiga unsur, yaitu kepercayaan sosial, norma sosial dan jaringan sosial. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah keeratan yang dihasilkan melalui sistem zonasi itu semua masyarakat lingkungan sekolah memiliki rasa percaya satu sama lain, melaksanakan semua peraturan yang ada dan memiliki hubungan yang baik sesama masyarakat sekolah.
