Abstract
This thesis focuses on gender equality in the Adinda Imala Union in the Lebak Student Association (IMALA). The purpose of this research; 1) to find out gender equality in the Lebak Student Association organization with the presence of the Adinda Imala Union; and 2) to determine the participation of the Adinda Imala Union in the Lebak Student Association organization. The method used in this research is a case study method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The technique of checking the validity of the data uses the degree of confidence, source triangulation and peer debriefing. The data analysis technique used is an interactive model. While the theory used is liberal feminism. Informants in this study included the chairman of IMALA, chairman of SRIKANDI, IMALA female members and SRIKANDI proclaimers. The research location is at the secretariat of PP IMALA Rangkasbitung, Lebak Regency, Banten. The results of the research analysis found that gender equality in the Lebak Student Association organization has been realized by its members. There are driving factors in the form of SRIKANDI as a forum for gender empowerment and education, equal opportunity and support from the community, but there are also factors that hinder it. Meanwhile, SRIKANDI's participation in the IMALA organization shows that there are opportunities to participate in giving opinions, participating in management and participating in education. gender and member empowerment. However, there are also obstacles that hinder SRIKANDI's participation in the IMALA organization. So the researcher concludes that efforts to realize gender equality in the Lebak Student Association organization with the presence of the Adinda Imala Union have not been realized optimally, because it has not been accompanied by simultaneous efforts from all cadres, so that female members still find it difficult to actualize themselves and develop in the organization.

| Additional Information: | Skripsi ini berfokus pada kesetaraan gender pada Serikat Adinda Imala dalam organisasi Ikatan Mahasiswa Lebak (IMALA). Penelitian ini bertujuan; 1) untuk mengetahui kesetaran gender dalam organisasi Ikatan Mahasiswa Lebak dengan kehadiran Serikat Adinda Imala; dan 2) untuk mengetahui partisipasi Serikat Adinda Imala dalam organisasi Ikatan Mahasiswa Lebak. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik pemeriksaan keabsahan data menggunakan derajat kepercayaan, triangulasi sumber dan peer debriefing. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah model interaktif. Sedangkan teori yang digunakan adalah feminisme liberal. Informan dalam penelitian ini antara lain ketua IMALA, ketua SRIKANDI, anggota perempuan IMALA dan proklamator SRIKANDI. Lokasi penelitian bertempat di sekretariat PP IMALA Rangkasbitung Kabupaten Lebak, Banten. Hasil analisis penelitian menemukan bahwa kesetaraan gender dalam organisasi Ikatan Mahasiswa Lebak sudah disadari oleh anggotanya. Terdapat faktor pendorong berupa SRIKANDI sebagai wadah pemberdayaan dan pendidikan gender, kesempatan yang setara dan dukungan dari masyarakat, namun terdapat juga faktor yang menghambatnya.. Sedangkan partisipasi SRIKANDI dalam organisasi IMALA menunjukan adanya kesempatan berpartisipasi yang diberikan dalam berpendapat, berpartisipasi dalam kepengurusan serta berpartisipasi dalam pendidikan gender dan pemberdayaaan anggota. Namun terdapat juga hambatan yang menyebabkan partisipasi SRIKANDI dalam organisasi IMALA terhambat. Sehingga peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa upaya mewujudkan kesetaraan gender dalam organisasi Ikatan Mahasiswa Lebak dengan kehadiran Serikat Adinda Imala belum terwujud secara optimal, karena belum dibarengi dengan upaya serentak dari seluruh kader, sehingga anggota perempuan masih kesulitan untuk mengaktualisasikan diri dan berkembang dalam organisasi. | |||||||||
