Abstract
Orchid Dendrobium is one type of ornamental plant that is much favored by the public because it has a variety of shapes, sizes, colors and patterns. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of concentration level of liquid supplementary fertilizer and plant growth regulator auxin on stem cuttings of Dendrobium sp. var. Thongchai Gold. This research was carried out at Green House and BPTPHP Laboratory of the Banten provincial agriculture office, from October 2021-January 2022. Used a factorial Randomized Block Design consisting of two factors. The first factor was liquid complementary fertilizer (P) which consists of 5 levels: 0 ml/l, 1,25 ml/l, 2,25 ml/l, 3,25 ml/l and 4,25 ml/l. The second factor was growth regulator auxin (Z) which consists of 3 levels: 0 ml/l, 1 ml/l and 2 ml/l. There were 15 treatment combinations and repeated 3 times, so there were 45 experimental units. The results showed that the application of liquid supplementary fertilizer was good to use because it could significantly affect the parameters of the time of shoot emergence, shoot height at the age of 6 Weeks After Planting (WAP) and 12 WAP and the number of leaves at the age of 6 WAP and 12 WAP. Giving growth regulator auxin had no significant effect on all parameters, namely the time of shoot emergence, shoot height at the age of 6 WAP and 12 WAP, the number of leaves at the age of 6 WAP and 12 WAP, the number of shoots at the age of 6 WAP and 12 WAP, shoot diameter (keiki) at at the age of 6 WAP and 12 WAP, the number of roots at the age of 12 WAP and the stem diameter of the cuttings at the age of 1 WAP and 12 WAP. There is an interaction between the application of liquid complementary fertilizer and the application of growth regulator auxin to the time parameters of shoot emergence.

| Additional Information: | Anggrek Dendrobium merupakan salah satu jenis tanaman hias yang banyak digemari oleh masyarakat karena anggrek Dendrobium memiliki bentuk, ukuran, warna dan corak yang bervariasi. Produksi anggrek di Indonesia tidak stabil dikarenakan ketersedian bibit anggrek dalam kualitas dan kuantitas masih kurang. Perbanyakan melalui stek batang merupakan salah satu teknik perbanyakan yang tergolong mudah, sederhana dan ekonomis. Dan ditambahkan dengan penggunaan pupuk pelengkap cair dan zat pengatur tumbuh auksin untuk menghasilkan pertumbuhan yang optimal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pupuk pelengkap cair dan zat pengatur tumbuh auksin terhadap pertumbuhan stek batang anggrek Dendrobium sp. var. Thongchai Gold. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Green House dan Laboratorium BPTPHP dinas pertanian provinsi Banten, dari bulan Oktober 2021-Januari 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial yang terdiri dari dua faktor. Faktor pertama yaitu pupuk pelengkap cair (P) yang terdiri dari 5 taraf yaitu 0 ml/liter air, 1,25 ml/liter air, 2,25 ml/liter air, 3,25 ml/liter air dan 4,25 ml/liter air. Faktor kedua yaitu zat pengatur tumbuh auksin (Z) yang terdiri dari 3 taraf yaitu 0 ml/l air, 1 ml/l air dan 2 ml/l air. Terdapat 15 kombinasi perlakuan dan diulang sebanyak 3 kali, sehingga terdapat 45 satuan percobaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pupuk pelengkap cair baik untuk digunakan karena berpengaruh nyata terhadap parameter waktu munculnya tunas, tinggi tunas pada umur 6 Minggu Setelah Tanam (MST) dan 12 MST dan jumlah daun pada umur 6 MST dan 12 MST. Pemberian zat pengatur tumbuh auksin dengan konsentrasi 1 ml dan 2 ml tidak baik untuk digunakan karena berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap semua parameter yaitu waktu munculnya tunas, tinggi tunas, jumlah daun, jumlah tunas, diameter tunas (keiki), jumlah akar dan diameter batang stek. Terdapat interaksi antara pemberian pupuk pelengkap cair dan pemberian zat pengatur tumbuh auksin terhadap parameter waktu munculnya tunas. | |||||||||
