Abstract

ABSTRAK Dyah Puspita Candra Kirana. NIM 6662170028. Skripsi. Model Komunikasi Pernikahan Pada Pasangan Suami Istri Yang Bercerai (Analisis Komunikasi Pernikahan Pada Pasangan Yang Bercerai Di Kota Serang). Pembimbing I: Dr. Naniek Afrilla Framaniek, S.Sos., M.Si. dan Pembimbing II: Ronny Yudhi Septa Priana, M.I.Kom., M.Si. Terdapat 3.395 kasus perceraian di Kota Serang dengan ekonomi sebagai penyebab utamanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana komunikasi pernikahan pada pasangan suami istri yang bercerai di Kota Serang. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Marital Communication dari Mary Anne Fitzpatrick dan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada konsep komplementer mereka cenderung saling menuntut pasangan untuk mendapatkan yang terbaik tanpa mau memberikan yang terbaik pula. Pada konsep simetris mereka cenderung saling memendam apa yang sebenarnya mereka pikirkan, rasakan dan inginkan. Ketiga pasangan tersebut belum memahami cara untuk mengungkapkan rasa sayang kepada pasangannya sehingga yang terjadi adalah hal kebalikan dari apa yang mereka harapkan. Sedangkan pada konsep paralel ketiga pasangan hidup dalam pernikahan yang tidak bahagia. Hal ini terlihat dari usia pernikahan mereka yang cukup singkat, tidak adanya pola komunikasi yang intens dan efektif, selalu menghindari konflik yang terjadi, serta memilih perceraian sebagai solusi akhir dari permasalahan mereka. There are 3.395 divorce cases in Serang City with the economy as the main cause.The study is intended to determine how communication marriage on the couple husband and wife who divorced in the city of Serang.This research using Marital Communication theory from Mary Anne Fitzpatrick and using a qualitative approach with the case study method. Results of the study showed that the concept of complementary they tend to be mutually require couples to obtain the best without willing to provide the best anyway. On a symmetrical concept they tend to be each harbored what that actually they think, feel and want. All three couples are not yet understood how to express a sense of affection to his partner so that the case is a matter opposite of what that they expect. While the concept of the parallel three couples living in unhappy marriage. It is seen from the age of marriage they were quite short, not their pattern of communication that is intense and effective, always avoid conflicts that occur, as well as choose divorce as a solution the end of the problems they are.
