Abstract

ABSTRAK ARIF ARDIANSYAH, NIM 6662160113. Pengaruh Menonton Konten Daily Vlog Di Youtube Terhadap Perilaku Imitasi Gaya Hidup Pada Penonton. Program Studi Ilmu Komunikasi, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial Dan Ilmu Politik, Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa. Pembimbing 1 : Dr. Idi Dimyati, S. Ikom, M. Ikom, Pembimbing II : Ikhsan Ahmad, S. Ip, M. Si Daily Vlog merupakan salah satu jenis konten Vlog di media sosial Youtube yang tengah menjadi sebuah tren danmemiliki banyak penggemarkarena dinilai mudah dipahami dan memiliki kedekatan atau kemiripan dengan gaya hidup para penontonnya. Di penelitian ini, penulis akan mencari tahu apakah ada pengaruh menonton konten Daily Vlog di Youtube terhadap perilaku imitasi gaya hidup pada penonton dengan menggunakan salah satu teori efek media yaitu TEORI PEMBELAJARAN SOSIAL (THE SOCIAL LEARNING THEORY). Penelitian ini menggunakanpendekatan Kuantitatif dengan metode survei kepada 100 orang mahasiswa yang diambil dari 5 universitas besar di Kota Serang, serta menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling untuk memilih sampel. Dalam pengumpulan data, digunakan alat instrumen kuesioner yang telah disebarkan baik melalui media daring ataupun secara langsung. Hasil kuesioner tersebut juga telahdilakukanbeberapa pengujian data dengan bantuan program SPSS 23.Berdasarkan hasil pengujian kepada 100 sampel dari kalangan mahasiswa, telah menunjukkan nilai presentase sebesar 32,1%tingkat hubungan atau pengaruh dari Varabel X terhadap Variabel Y, sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Hal ini cukup membuktikan bahwa terdapat pengaruh dari menonton konten Daily Vlog di youtube terhadap perilaku imitasi pada penonton, khususnya di kalangan mahasiswa. Si Daily Vlog is one type of Vlog content on Youtube social media which is becoming a trend and has many fans because it is considered easy to understand and has closeness or resemblance to the lifestyle of the audience. In this study, the author will find out whether there is an effect of watching Daily Vlog content on Youtube on lifestyle imitation behavior in viewers by using one of the media effects theories, namely THE SOCIAL LEARNING THEORY. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method to 100 students taken from 5 major universities in Serang City, and uses a purposive sampling technique to select samples. In data collection, questionnaires were used which were distributed either through online media or in person. The results of the questionnaire have also carried out several data tests with the help of the SPSS 23 program. Based on the results of testing in this study to 100 samples, it has shown a percentage value of 32.1% indicating the magnitude of the relationship or influence of Variable X on Variable Y, while the rest is influenced by another factor. This proves that there is quite an influence from watching Daily Vlog content on YouTube on imitation behavior in the audience, especially among students.
