Abstract

Tidak tercapainya target kerja dan hasil kerja sesuai Key Performance Indicator (KPI) menunjukan adanya permasalahan pada efektivitas kerja karyawan. Lingkungan kerja yang nyaman dan pengawasan kerja yang maksimal dibutuhkan untuk dapat meningkatkan efektivitas kerja karyawan yang diperkuat dengan motivasi kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan kerja dan pengawasan kerja terhadap efektivitas kerja karyawan melalui motivasi kerja sebagai variabel intervening. Penelitian terdiri dari empat variabel yaitu lingkungan kerja dan pengawasan sebagai variabel independen, efektivitas kerja sebagai variabel dependen dan motivasi kerja sebagai variabel intervening. Objek penelitian adalah karyawan PT Puninar Logistics. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa pengisian kuesioner yang diukur dengan skala penilaian interval 1-10. Sampel diambil sebanyak 95 responden dengan teknik stratified random sampling. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) yang diolah dengan SmartPLS versi 2.3.m3. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis dapat disimpulkan (1) Lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap efektivitas kerja, dimana semakin kondusif lingkungan kerja maka semakin tinggi efektivitas kerja karyawan; (2) Pengawasan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap efektivitas kerja, dimana semakin tinggi pengawasan yang dilakukan maka semakin tinggi efektivitas kerja karyawan; (3) Lingkungan kerja tidak berpengaruh terhadap motivasi kerja, artinya tingginya motivasi kerja karyawan tidak dipengaruhi oleh kondusifnya lingkungan kerja; (4) Pengawasan tidak berpengaruh terhadap motivasi kerja, dimana pengawasan yang tinggi dari pihak manajemen tidak mempengaruhi motivasi kerja karyawan; dan (5) Motivasi kerja tidak berpengaruh terhadap efektivitas kerja, artinya motivasi kerja karyawan yang tinggi tidak mempengaruhi efektivitas kerja karyawan.

Additional Information: Not achieving work targets and work results in accordance with the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) shows that there are problems with employee effectiveness. A comfortable work environment and maximum work supervision are needed to be able to improve the work effectiveness of employees that are strengthened by work motivation This study aims to determine the effect of the work environment and work supervision on employee work effectiveness through work motivation as an intervening variable. The study consisted of four variables namely work environment and supervision as an independent variable, work effectiveness as the dependent variable and work motivation as an intervening variable. The object of research is the employees of PT Puninar Logistics. This research uses a quantitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of filling out questionnaires which are measured with a scale of 1-10 interval assessment. Samples were taken as many as 95 respondents with stratified random sampling technique. The research data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) which was processed with SmartPLS version 2.3.m3. Based on the results of hypothesis testing it can be concluded (1) The work environment has a positive and significant effect on work effectiveness, where the more conducive to the work environment, the higher the work effectiveness of employees; (2) Supervision has a positive and significant effect on work effectiveness, where the higher the supervision conducted, the higher the work effectiveness of employees; (3) The work environment has no effect on work motivation, meaning that the high work motivation of employees is not influenced by the conducive working environment; (4) Supervision does not affect work motivation, where high supervision by management does not affect employee work motivation; and (5) work motivation does not affect work effectiveness, meaning that high employee motivation does not affect employee work effectiveness.
