Abstract

ABSTRAK Devi Chandra Br. Lumban Gaol. Nim. 6662170088. Skripsi Pola Komunikasi Guru Dalam Mengatasi Faktor Penghambat Komunikasi Pada Anak Autisme Dengan Sesama Teman Sekolah (Studi kasus pada Guru di Sekolah Khusus Al-Ihsan 02 Kota Cilegon). Pembimbing I : Dr. Rahmi Winangsih, M.Si, dan Pembimbing II : Dr. Isti Nursih, S.IP, M.I.kom Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui bagaimana pola komunikasi guru dalam mengatasi faktor penghambat komunikasi pada anak autisme dengan sesama teman sekolah di Sekolah Khusus Al-Ihsan 02 Kota Cilegon. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode penelitian studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan pedoman wawancara. Informan dalam penelitian ini merupakan guru di Sekolah Khusus Al-Ihsan 02 Kota Cilegon dan seorang Psikolog Anak. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, bahwa (1) pola komunikasi guru untuk mengatasi faktor penghambat komunikasi yaitu dengan cara mewawancarai orang tua terlebih dahulu agar guru mengetahui pola dan identifikasi dari permasalahan si anak. (2) Hambatan komunikasi yaitu respon komunikasi yang minim karena anak autisme kurang rasa percaya diri dalam menyesuaikan dengan lingkungan baru, sulit untuk memusatkan fokus/perhatian karena anak lebih asyik dengan dunianya sendiri, frekuensi komunikasi yang rendah dikarenakan (3) strategi komunikasi guru dalam mengatasi faktor penghambat berkomunikasi adalah dengan menggunakan 5 tahapan : (a) kontak, (b) keterlibatan, (c) keakraban, (d) perusakan, dan (e) pemutusan. guru harus memberikan pertanyaan agar anak tidak pasif, dan guru harus pro aktif dalam bertanya kepada orang tua atau pengasuh si anak agar anak mau memulai komunikasi. Thesis on Teacher Communication Patterns in Overcoming Communication Inhibiting Factors in Autism Children with Fellow Schoolmates (Case Study on Teachers at Al-Ihsan Special School 02 Cilegon City). Advisor I : Dr. Rahmi Winangsih, M.Si, and Advisor II : Dr. Isti Nursih, S.IP, MIkom The purpose of the study was to find out how the teacher's communication patterns in overcoming the communication barrier factors in children with autism fellow schoolmates at Al-Ihsan 02 Special School Cilegon. This research uses descriptive qualitative approach with case study research method. techniques using interview guidelines. The informants in this study were teachers at the Al-Ihsan 02 Special School in Cilegon City and a Child Psychologist. Based on the results of the study, that (1) the teacher's communication pattern to overcome communication inhibiting factors is by interviewing parents first so that the teacher knows the pattern and identification of the child's problems. (2) Communication barriers, namely minimal communication response because children with autism lack confidence in adjusting to new environments, it is difficult to focus/pay attention because children are more engrossed in their own world, low frequency of communication due to (3) teacher's communication strategies in overcoming the inhibiting factor for communicating is to use 5 stages: (a) contact, (b) involvement, (c) intimacy, (d) destruction, and (e) disconnection. The teacher must ask questions so that the child is not passive, and the teacher must be proactive in asking the parents or caregivers of the child so that the child will start communication.
