Abstract

Berdasarkan “Studi Angkutan Massal Di Kota Serang Tahun 2016” yang dikeluarkan oleh Dinas Perhubungan Komunikasi Dan Informatika Kota Serang, Pemerintah Kota Serang berencana untuk menggunakan Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) sebagai salah satu moda transportasi massal di Kota Serang. Penyediaan Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) bertujuan menarik pengguna kendaraan pribadi untuk berpindah ke angkutan umum sebagai upaya peningkatan kualitas transportasi masyarakat yang memadai dan dapat digunakan secara efektif dan efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi fisik (tingkat kelayakan) halte angkutan umum di Kota Serang, mengetahui tingkat efektivitas halte angkutan umum di Kota Serang dan dapat mengetahui strategi pengembangan halte angkutan umum dalam rangka pengoperasian moda BRT di Kota Serang. Standar penilaian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah berdasarkan Keputusan Direktur Jenderal Perhubungan Darat Nomor: 271/HK.105/DRJD/96. Metode analisis data yang akan digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah mix methods, yang mana pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara melakukan observasi langsung di lapangan menggunakan metode scoring, membagikan kuesioner serta melakukan analisa menggunakan metode SWOT. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa kondisi fisik (tingkat kelayakan) halte dan tingkat efektivitas angkutan umum di Kota Serang secara keseluruhan sudah memenuhi standart peraturan yang ada dan halte angkutan umum di Kota Serang dapat digunakan sebagai halte Bus Rapid Transit (BRT). Namun terdapat beberapa halte angkutan umum di Kota Serang yang memerlukan perbaikan dan perawatan secara berkala.

Additional Information: Based on the “2016 Study on Mass Transport in the City of Serang” issued by the Serang City Information and Communication Department, Serang City Government plans to use Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) as one of the modes of mass transportation in Serang City. The provision of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) aims to attract private vehicle users to switch to public transportation as an effort to improve the quality of public transportation that is adequate and can be used effectively and efficiently. This study aims to determine the physical condition (feasibility level) of public transport stops in Serang City, determine the effectiveness level of public transport stops in Serang City and find out the strategy for developing public transport stops in the context of operating the BRT mode in Serang City. The assessment standard used in this research is based on the Decree of the Director General of Land Transportation Number: 271 / HK.105 / DRJD / 96. The data analysis method used in this study is mix methods, in which data collection is done by direct observation in the field using the scoring method, distributing questionnaires and analyzing using the SWOT method. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the physical conditions (feasibility level) of bus stops and the level of effectiveness of public transportation in Serang City as a whole have met the existing regulatory standards and public transport stops in Serang City can be used as Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) stops. However, there are several public transport stops in Serang City that require periodic repairs and maintenance. Key Word: Bus Stop, Stop Effectiveness, Bus Rapid Transit
