| Additional Information: | This study aims to determine the amount of production costs, income, efficiency and break-even point in the household scale agroindustry of sugar cane in Nagari Bukik Batabuah, Canduang District. The basic method of research used is descriptive quantitative method. This research was conducted in Canduang Subdistrict, which then selected Nagari Bukik Batabuah as a center for producing sugar cane. The selection of the research location was done on purpose. Respondents were taken proportionally as many as 35 people. The types and sources of data used consist of primary data and secondary data. The technique of collecting data was done by interviewing, observing, and taking notes. The results of this study indicate that the average total cost of sugar cane agroindustry at household scale in Nagari Bukik Batabuah is IDR 7,803,699 per month. The average income earned is Rp. 11,034,000 per month, so the average income obtained by sugar cane processing farmers is Rp. 3,230,301 per month. The household scale cane brown sugar agroindustry in Nagari Bukik Batabuah which has been run so far has been efficient as indicated by an R / C ratio of more than one, namely 1.41, which means that every Rp. 1.41 times the costs incurred. The results of the BEP (Break Even Point) analysis of the brown sugar cane business in Nagari Bukik Batabuah, Agam Regency, West Sumatra Province, were at the break-even point when production reached 104 kg with a selling price of Rp 1,397,944permonth.
