Abstract

ABSTRAK Pengelolaankegiatanpariwisata sangat penting dalam menarik wisatawan untuk tinggal lebih lama di lokasi wisata dan bagaimana membuat wisatawan menghabiskan uang sebanyak mungkin selama perjalanan.Ada beberapa cara untuk mengembangkan potensi desa wisata berbasis komunitas, salah satunya adalah dengan menggunakan konsep Community Based Tourism (CBT). CBT dapat mengembangkan ekonomi masyarakat sekitar desawisata dan potensi sumberdaya manusia yang ada di daerah tersebut. Tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk menganalisis bagaimana marketing public relations yang digunakan untuk promosi pariwisata berbasis komunitas di Desa Wisata Pipitan, Kota Serang, Provinsi Banten dengan menggunakan teori three ways srategies dari Thomas L Harris. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kampung Selfie Desa Wisata Pipitan telah menjalankanthree ways strategies tersebut seperti melakukan pull untuk menarik perhatian pubik melalui acara, berita dan publikasi; melakukan push untuk mendorong jumlah wisatawan melalui pidato dan juga media identity; dan tahapan pass melalui kegiatan pelayanan public dan sponsorship. Kata Kunci: Three Ways Strategies, Community Based Tourism, Desa Wisata Pipitan   ABSTRACT Management of tourism activities is very important in attracting tourists to stay longer at tourist sites and how to make tourists spend as much money as possible during the trip. There are several ways to develop the potential of community-based tourism villages, one of which is to use the concept of Community Based Tourism (CBT). CBT can develop the economy of the community around the tourist village and the potential of human resources in the area. The purpose of the study is to analyze how marketing public relations is used for community-based tourism promotion in Pipitan Tourism Village, Serang City, Banten Province by using the theory of three ways strategies from Thomas L Harris. This study uses a qualitative-descriptive approach with interview and observation data collection techniques. The results showed that the Selfie Village of Pipitan Tourism Village had implemented the three ways strategies such as doing pulls to attract public attention through events, news and publications; do push to encourage the number of tourists through speeches and also media identity; and the pass stages through public service activities and sponsorship.
