Abstract
The purpose of this research is to improve learning activities students’ reached 90% and cognitive learning outcomes students’ to up to ≥75 by using a model of cooperative learning type of giving question and getting answer. This research was conducted with two phases research cycle, each cycle is implemented with two meetings. Each cycle was done with four phase. The four phase is planing phase, implementation phase, observation phase and reflection phase. The data collection techniques in this research were by using test instruments, observation of teacher and students’ learning activities. In the first and the second cycle , the number of students who attended the class was 21 students’. The implementation of cooperative learning, type of giving question and getting answer, students’ learning activities and cognitive learning outcomes increased. In the cycle of one the first meeting the average activity learning students’ 79,1 % and the second 94,9 % and in the cycle of both increased to 96.3 % in the first meeting , as well as 96,9 % in the second. The average learning outcomes students’ from 81,9, in one of 81,9 cycle increased to 93,8 in the cycle of two. So, the conclusion that can be taken of this research is by applying a model of cooperative learning type of giving question and getting answer can increase the learning activities students’ and cognitive learning outcomes students’ on civics subject in third grade at Elementary School Cibeber II .
