Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine: (1)) the influence of profitability on firm value (2) the influence of profitability on dividend policy (3) the influence of dividend policy on firm value (4) the influence profitability on firm value which using dividend policy as intervening variable. The samples are the company LQ45 listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange during the study period is 2005-2014. Total population are 45 companies and sample are 5 companies. This study uses secondary data obtained from the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) in the form of financial statements are published on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). Data analysis method used is path analysis. The results showed that: 1) profitability has positive effect of firm value and significant 2) profitability don’t have a significant effect of dividen policy. 3)dividend policy don’t have a significant effect of firm value. 4) dividend policy is not intervening variable can affect the relationship of profitability and firm value Keywords: Firm Value (Price to Book Value), Profitability (Return on Asset), Dividend Policy (Dividend Payout Ratio)
