Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar peserta didik dengan menggunakan model cooperative learning tipe example non example hingga mencapai nilai KKM ≥ 65. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (Classroom Action Research) yang terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan dua tahap siklus penelitian, dimana pada setiap siklusnya dilakukan dengan dua pertemuan. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu dengan menggunakan instrumen tes, instrumen observasi aktivitas guru dan aktivitas belajar peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal yang dilakukan, terlihat dari data awal tingkat kelulusan peserta didik dari 37 peserta didik hanya 18 peserta didik (49%) yang mendapatkan nilai di atas KKM dan 19 peserta didik (51%) berada di bawah KKM. Sehingga proses pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan belum optimal. Setelah diberikan tindakan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran cooperative learning tipe example non example pada siklus I jumlah peserta didik yang lulus berdasarkan KKM meningkat 72%, dan pada siklus II meningkat 94%. Sedangkan aktivitas peserta didik setelah diberikan tindakan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran cooperative learning tipe example non example pada siklus I aktivitas peserta didik mencapai 75%, dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 100%. Sehingga simpulan yang dapat diambil dari penelitian ini bahwa dengan diterapkannya model cooperative learning tipe example non example dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPS di kelas III Sekolah Dasar Negeri Lontar Baru

This research aims to increase the activity and learning outcomes of students through cooperative learning model by example non example type achieve reaching the KKM ≥ 65. This research uses a Classroom Action Research (PTK) comprising the steps of planning, action, observation and reflection. In this research conducted in two stages of the research cycle, where in each cycle performed in two meetings. The data collection techniques in this research is by using test instruments, teacher activities and learning activities of students. Based on the results of preliminary observations made, it appears from the preliminary data the graduation rate of students from 37 students only 18 students (49%) who scored in the top of the KKM and 19 students (51%) are under the KKM. So the learning process is carried out is not optimal. After being given an action using cooperative learning teaching model by example example type, in the first cycle the students who pass by KKM increased 72%, and the second cycle increased by 94%. While the activities of students after being given an action using cooperative learning model by example example type in the first cycle of activity students achieve 75%, and the second cycle increased to 100%. So the conclusions that can be drawn from this study that with the implementation of cooperative learning model of the type of example of non example can increase the activity and learning outcomes of students on social studies in III grade of elementary school Lontar Baru Serang Regency
