Abstract
Some of the problems contained in learning SDN Delingseng is likely to use talkative teaching model, students become lazy to read, embarrassed to ask and lack confidence in expressing their opinion. The purpose of this study was to obtain empirical data on learning outcomes of science study of third grade students of State Elementary School Delingseng District Cilegon City using talking stick method. With research subjects are students of third grade, which amounted to 41 students in the second semester 2014-2015. Results of this study was obtained from each cycle as follows: in the first cycle the percentage of student activity reached 68,29%, while in the second cycle has reached 87,81%. The activities of teachers in the first cycle of 64,28%, while in the second cycle has reached 100%. Furthermore, the results of students in the first cycle there are 27 students with a percentage of 65,86% shows there are still 14 students who have not reached the KKM. In the second cycle to be improved and increased very well, reaching 90,24% of students achieve mastery with an average value of 75 (KKM). From these results it can be concluded that the use talking stick can improve learning outcomes and student activities on the theme of science.

| Additional Information: | Beberapa permasalahan yang terdapat pada pembelajaran di SDN Delingseng yaitu cenderung menggunakan metode ceramah, siswa malas untuk membaca, malu bertanya serta kurang percaya diri dalam mengungkapkan pendapatnya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memperoleh data empiris tentang hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) pada siswa kelas III Sekolah Dasar Negeri Delingseng Kecamatan Citangkil Kota Cilegon menggunakan metode Talking Stick. Dengan subyek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas III yang berjumlah 41 orang siswa pada semester II tahun 2014-2015. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh dari tiap siklus sebagai berikut: pada siklus I presentase aktivitas siswa mencapai 68,29% sedangkan pada siklus II sudah mencapai 87,81%. Aktivitas guru pada siklus I 64,28% sedangkan pada siklus II sudah mencapai 100%. Selanjutnya hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I terdapat 27 siswa dengan presentase 65,86% menunjukkan masih ada 14 orang siswa yang belum mencapai KKM. Pada siklus II dilakukan perbaikan dan mengalami peningkatan sangat baik yaitu mencapai 90,24% siswa mencapai ketuntasan ≥75 (KKM). Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa menggunakan metode Talking Stick bisa meningkatkan hasil belajar dan aktivitas siswa pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA). | |||||||||
